Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Location was great. Very close to The Domain and many other things to do and see. However the best part of our stay was Carmen - such a delightful person! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Carmen is an asset to Marriott and they are lucky to have her on their team. I will definitely stay here again!

United StatesAt the morning buffet breakfast, the turkey sausage was kind of dry. Also, it was difficult to get the waffles out of the iron (kept sticking inside). Had to have a maintenance call to fix our toilet that kept running in the early morning hours, but the maintenance tech was very nice and helpful. It is not easy to navigate the local access roads when you are not familiar with the area. We kept making wrong turns, or missing a turn due to heavy traffic. So, we weren't thrilled with the location. But, the hotel itself was fine.
The breakfast was ok -- not a huge variety, but it was convenient to have something in the hotel for breakfast that didn't cost anything extra. It was nice having a full-size refrigerator, plus microwave and stove-top in our room.

United StatesMy room (318) had a bug problem, in the bathroom. Not sure if that was roaches or not but i killed 3, therefore didn't sleep as well as I would have liked considering the cost. The Internet did not work at all in the room. I wont be staying there again. I was hoping the receptionist would ask how my stay was, so that I could share, but she didnt ask.
