The location was not too bad. It was close to supermarkets, gas stations, and the beach. It was close to downtown and CityPlace too.

    Nothing!

Marco is a very thoughtful host and will make sure you're having a great stay. Personally I had a great time hanging out with him and the other housemates. Felt right at home from the moment that I arrived.

There is a page of rules, in order to keep the place orderly and to help people get sleep at night, so if you don't like to follow rules, you are better off elsewhere. Parking is only on the street, but space is almost always available, but one may have to walk a block at times. Most rooms have a bin for the refrigerator, so the space is limited if you are the chef type, but within reason, people find a way to make everything fit, (thank you "Door Dash" type guests).

This large house has a big and well-apportioned kitchen, a pleasantly comfortable bedroom with a desk for working on a laptop, and a clean and uncrowded bathroom. One load of laundry is done for you once a week (Sunday). But the best part is that the owner and long-termers have created a somewhat social atmosphere which fosters relationships between the guests, who often stay longer or return when he or she is able. This can include intelligent discussions around the dinner table, informal kitchen talk, walks together around the neighborhood, and occasional pizza at the park events. I took many walks near the Intracoastal, and the location made it easy. The owner is a true Italian from the Puglia region. Plus -- lest I forget to mention -- the reasonable price!

To keep the place running in an orderly fashion, one must read about a page of rules. 10 PM-7 AM are quiet hours, for example. So don't plan on cooking at 3 AM! If you are a rogue warrior who makes and lives by his own rules, go somewhere else! Also, if you don't like app-or-fingerprint-opened doors, you won't like it here. Once you get set up and used to it, it's no problem.

This is a large home that has been set up to have multiple bedrooms and shared bathrooms and a large, modern, community kitchen. Marco, who hails from Italy, has done a great job to create a communal environment. The place is kept clean and orderly, there is housekeeping and laundry service once per week, so you don't have to do the laundry! The refrigerator is well partitioned, so don't worry about your food disappearing. Some even leave their food for the community when they go. There is a small 'fridge for that. There is plenty of storage space for the items that don't need refrigeration, plus, all the cookware you could ever need to create your own delightful cuisine is here for you. My room has a desk, chair, and plenty of cabinet/drawer space and lights, so I can keep everything nice and neat. There are more plugs than I needed to power my electronics. Plus, there is a TV on the wall in the room if you do not have your own iPad. Marco even has people walk with him for exercise; nearby is the intracoastal that separates West Palm and Palm Beach, so there is a beautiful walk not far away. There may be a number of people staying here, but it never seemed crowded. This turquoise home has it all -- with style -- at a fair price.

DO NOT STAY HERE – COMPLETE SCAM I wish I could give this place zero stars. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had — avoid at all costs unless you want to waste your money and have a miserable stay. Let me break down the nightmare: Location: This house is located in the middle of a dangerous ghetto. There are prostitutes and homeless people right across the street, and the area is known for crime. It’s nowhere near any tourist attractions, and honestly, you’ll feel unsafe walking outside, day and night. House: The house has two floors with nine small rooms (4 downstairs, 5 upstairs), all double occupancy. The kitchen is supposedly “fully equipped,” but the dishwasher is off-limits — not that it matters, since some guests don’t clean up after themselves. The place constantly feels dirty and chaotic. Privacy: Forget about privacy — the walls are basically made of paper. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms at all hours of the day and night. Downstairs bathroom is shared between four rooms, including the owner. To make things worse, you’re expected to bring your own toilet paper — seriously?! Price: The price is an absolute rip-off for the location and the poor conditions. You’re paying luxury rates for a filthy, overcrowded hostel environment. Laundry: The listing shows a washing machine, but you’re not allowed to use it. The owner does the laundry once a week, mixing everyone’s clothes together, using barely any detergent, and returning them wrinkled and mixed up. Underwear has gone missing, and there’s no iron available. Bed linens are only washed every two weeks, and they still smell of previous guests. Cleanliness: This place is disgusting. There’s an outbreak of two types of cockroaches visible during the day — crawling over the kitchen table and utensils. The house is NOT professionally treated for pests. The towels are stained and ripped, the shower curtains are moldy, and there are flies in the sinks and bathroom.

There was a cockroach problem . I went to buy traps because i never saw a pest control person spraying the house. The cockroaches were in the kitchen and in our room. No, toilet paper gets provided. Watered down dish soap. No trash bags. I bought trash bags, cockroach traps and stronger soap for the house. Many of the dishes i used i had to wash first before i could use it. All lights are on a timer that gets very annoying. The house is very warm with a set temperature .The beds do not have duvets it has a blanket. My blanket smelled when i moved in and the bathroom mats were dirty. I had to ask for it to be washed. In 47 days the bathroom mats and blanket were washed once. I noticed that my bedding does not get changed every week. I did extend my stay not knowing that things wont change. I feel saving money gets more priority than guests comfort. I did not complain about everything because i noticed that residents in the house complained and not much was done. The cleaner comes once a week to clean 8/9 rooms so attention to detail cannot be practiced. I am a host myself and i definitely think this house has potential but many things will need to change.

The bed was comfortable. I met really nice people in the house .
