I didnt like the beds. Uncomfortable and only 2 pillows on 1 bed. Should be 4 pillows each bed for better comfort. Also the 1 pillows were so small and not fluffy

The blankets were dirty and burnt, although it says that smoking was not allowed and it was a smoke-free place, it had an unbearable smell of cigarettes and other substances.

The property was nothing like it was shown in the pictures of a grassy land some around the property. We were on the second floor and there were no screens on windows. I was told that a crib would be available for my infant grandchild, the property manager know nothing of this. Upon asking for extra towels and a blanket the property manager told me that there were none available…upon leaving I walked past a linen room FULL of towels and blankets perfectly clean. I went out to get ice from the ice machine and caught the property manager with his ear up to the door at a room across the hall.

Room wasn't very clean (holes in walls, baseboards coming off, pet food found behind dresser) and the location wasn't the greatest being off a main busy street (although there was a decent neighborhood adjacent to walk my dog through that felt safe). I would have preferred to be in the back building that didn't have the room doors directly opening to the road. The price paid for what felt like a run down room in need of a lot of repairs felt way too expensive.

This location was convenient for a wedding I attended, and as always, it's great that Red Roof Inns don't charge pet fees since I had my dog with me this time. With that, I've stayed at a plethora of Red Roof Inns, some better than others. This was one of the not so great ones... Overall, this property could use some improvement but the staff was very nice, and it did the trick for what I needed for a 2 night stay. The area felt odd being on such a main busy road, but there was a safe and nice neighborhood adjacent to the property that I was able to walk my dog through.

The staff lady that dealt with me was very pushy and had an attitude just because her shift ended. Room was ok the quality of the service could’ve been better.

The room was dirty and smelled badly! I was roomed on the low/main floor, and someone had left the window wide-open with the curtains closed. Anyone could have been in the room waiting on me inside the room, which was pretty scary.

The covers was dirty on both beds mattress one bed one was ate up the lock on the door broke I checked in late asked for a late check out and was rejected also was woke up out my sleep over a hr before check house keeping didn’t know once he banged multiple times in a row at 9:46am

The room and the bathroom was smalling badly. The attitude of one of the two receptionists was not polite.

The hotel in itself was very unclean and with poor quality. The room given to us had lots of mold on the ceiling and bottom of the door, a foul odor constantly, the microwave was not cleaned, and there were parts of the wall that were not patched up cleanly/properly. Also the window to our room let us view directly into a person's backyard and the curtains would not close properly.

The staff were rather nice and pleasant to interact with. No bugs from what I could tell either which is always a positive.

During my stay on May 15, 2025, at Red Roof Inn Chicago-Alsip, I stayed in room 402. The room had several serious issues: the shower curtain rod was torn off and lying on the floor (see attached photo), and both the air conditioner and refrigerator were not working. I reported this to the front desk, but they said it could not be fixed until the next morning. Since I was staying for only one night, this was unacceptable, and no alternative was offered. Additionally, I was charged a $50 deposit, which they promised to return within two days. I request a full refund for the stay and confirmation that the $50 deposit will also be returned. The provided conditions were unacceptable. Photos are attached as evidence.

Keycard didn’t work and staff said to me that I can stay in room and when I will need to go out, I just need to ask them to open my room when I will get back. I think that it could be better if they just gave me another room, because motel was pretty empty. Also towels and bed linen were dirty.
