How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Website and pictures show they have a hot tub. They do not. It was covered up by a composite "deck". Also find it odd that there are no1st floor rooms with a king size bed and no elevator.

Overall location was a little bit busy being located on a main road .
Small basic breakfast bar with cereal , waffles and pastries along with coffee and juice. I did like that options of restaurants in the area, with a very short commute into the nearest city.

Pre-checkin was pointless. Had to do everything I did online in person again!! Breakfast was okay, room was okay. Old grout, fridge, hvac controls, bed was okay.

The very first thing we saw when we walked into the room was a roach on the door. I've paid similar prices in relatively similar areas and they were at least more cleanly.
Breakfast was okay, and it was a decent bed to sleep in. It was an okay price. Staff was friendly when we checked in, especially for the time of night we got there.

For the cost, the accommodations were adequate for a one-night stay. Room relatively clean (unless you looked in the corners or under the bed). Furniture, vanity, grouting, door trims, et al were tired and somewhat worn. Remote on the TV was confusing to use--no ability to select from the TV guide. Breakfast had a limited selection and even though we were there early, no eggs left in the slow cooker and only a few slices of ham/Canadian bacon available. We were only there one night so we didn't use the pool or the exercise room. We would not stay there for more than a night or two, but for that length of time, the lower cost made up for the rest.

. They tried charging me again after it was already paid for cause they didn't look at reservation. Had to say something. Getting to the room was confusing as they have split floors. How slippery the tub was and that you could not adjust the shower. Water still flowed on the floor, and the shower is very small. Even with the curtain, it still spilled onto the floor. The jacuzzi tub had a drain cover that looked dirty. The buttons for it looked like they needed to be replaced. No elevator either. All stairs. Requested a main floor room and was told I was moved to 2nd floor. No reason given. I have a bad knee. It buckles easily.
The set up. Check in was good and check out too. Location was good. Secure. Felt safe there.

Not as clean as I'd like but not terrible. Example headboard had streaks of something and the hair dryer was dingy.

One desk person was rude to me upon check in, making me pay a deposit for my service dogs, and when I needed to ask for another key because I accidentally locked myself out of my room. It made having to speak with them about anything very uncomfortable. When checking out I, again, forgot my key in my room. The person at the desk made me hunt down house keeping to grab it and turn in so I could check out.
The room was nice. It had a pool. Breakfast was good.

The person above me was loud and non stopped walking .But the gentleman at the front desk took care of it.
