Breakfast stocks almost ran out at 8:30am. Old uneven mattress in the bedroom.

We had a cat. The receptionist gave us a hard time. Finally agreed to accept her—for a price. We were exhausted and the whole thing was rather unpleasant. Oh, and the breakfast was beyond bad. Cold “eggs.” Empty containers. Staff was present—dressed in pajama bottoms, no less.

Good location. “Pet policy” apparently means dogs. It should say that. Rosie’s restaurant next door is worth a visit.

The pool had a lot of build up on the bottom. Clearly not cleaned regularly, so didn’t use it. Hardly anything for breakfast.

The room was comfortable. The pool was filthy and I did not go in. Looked open. No warning signs, but the bottom way covered in brown leaves, dirt whatever... Disappointing because I looked forward to using it.

It is located across the street from a prison, we did not know that till we checked in. The pool was open one night then closed for the next two days. We only booked this place for the pool for my kids.

The location was business/industrial which was fine for my needs ( grass available for my dog to walk),but limited options for food nearby. It was quiet overnight because the businesses weren’t open early.

Treadmill was not working, breakfast wasn't the best. They had no butter! Upstairs ice machine broken.

We requested a first floor room and were on the second floor of a building that lacked an elevator. We had a fair amount of stuff that had to be lugged up the stairs. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving our valuables in the vehicle.

The location perhaps lends itself to inconsiderate other guests. I was awakened at 12:30 a.m. by a vehicle parked outside my room window playing loud music. When it didn't stop, I called the front desk, and they said they would address it. The occupants of the vehicle were eventually persuaded to turn off the music and come inside at about 1:15 am. Fortunately, the staff allowed me a late check out the next day, and I was able to get some additional music free rest.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable with tasteful decor. The room rate was an exceptional value.

The fact that when an item in the dining area was ACCIDENTALLY broken, it was considered an incidental expense to the customer. Ultimately expense was covered by receptionist.

I paid extra for a suite because the listing photos for the room included a jacuzzi tub, This was my sole reason for paying the extra cost of a suite over a traditional room. The room did not have a jacuzzi tub. Also, the bathtub did not drain properly so showers were a bit a of a splashy situation. There is not an elevator, which may be prohibitive for some guests. When attempting to check out, there were no staff to be found even after ringing the bell and waiting 10-15 minutes. This didn't bother me much as I know staff has other things to attend to and I just left a note with my keys.

The hotel is older but is kept up very well. Aside from the issues in the other section of my review, I would recommend this hotel for business travel. Breakfast starts at 6, which is nice for those who have to get an early start. It consisted of cereal, a waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage, juice, and prepackaged pastries (honeybuns, twinkies, chocolate snack cakes.) There is a nice patio out back by the pool which I unfortunately didn't get to enjoy as the pool door was the entry point for that area and the pool is currently "closed for maintenance." However it looks lovely and relaxing. There is a bar and grill and a gas station practically in the parking lot, so you don't have to travel far for food and drinks if you don't desire.

The King bed room the tub didn't have a plug for the tub.

Left my debit card in the bed and it was returned to me as I moved to a different room.
