Beautifully maintained historic home built in 1800's that takes you back in time, while providing modern comforts. The owners, Barry and Denise, were very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable.

The air conditioners were not available yet but we did have an unusually warm day preseason.

An absolutely wonderful place with the most beautiful Victorian decor. Not a thing was overlooked. The parking was a little tight, but we did have a truck. The room was so comfortable and plenty of space. Our host made sure we were comfortable with asking for any needs. The bathroom was enough. Little thoughtful appointments in the room were appreciated. The breakfast delicious, the hosts warm and welcoming. We most certainly will stay there again when we go out for a visit.

The jaquzzi problem. But, as I said then, those things happen. Forgivable for sure, especially when compensated by an honest apology and serious attempt to make it right.

Not a thing

It was absolutely beautiful! It was like going into the Gilded Age Era!! The Rooms were so well done, it impressed me at every turn! The drapes and comforter totally matched each other, which was so different from other B&B’s! Breakfast was Delicious and Barry (Host) made sure you would not leave hungry!!! I was welcomed into the room and had 2 cookies, in their own little bubble waiting for me, of course, not to be repetitious but probably best cookie I’ve ever tasted! You can check out the pictures to see it for yourself, only pictures do not do it justice!!! The 2 Hosts were wonderful and So Happy I went there!!!

Sadly there was some road work not too far away and they were working on it Sat Morning. The neighborhood is residential so there wasn't much walking. But the small yard is pleasant! I can say much about the local town as we were visiting our daughter at Hamilton College

This Victorian period B&B is very nice. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was great whirlpool tub. The owners are delightful!!! The house is highly decorated in period pieces!!! The Breakfast was very good, with a good variety and quite large....fresh fruit, cinnamon bun, eggs, pancakes, bacon, potatoes, nice coffee and OJ...though I wish I was 25 and could finish it! They don't punish you if you don't clean your plate.

Barry greeted us at the door and gave us a nice tour and history of their beautiful home. A warm welcome is always appreciated after travelling. Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. Our private bathroom was very nice to have - we were able to get ready at our own leisurely pace. We had to leave early the next morning before breakfast was served, but Barry left us some amazing Lemon Blueberry cake at the front door. Very thoughtful, delicious and appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Barry gave us a great story of the house, great restaurant suggestions. Just a beautiful house. There is a piano that my husband enjoyed playing. Breakfast super delicious. The room was spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and the Erie canal cruise. We loved to walk.

Everything was perfect! The Hosts have worked hard to make it a beautiful and peaceful stay!

Breakfast was FANTASTIC !! cooked just for us !! DELICIOUS!! The Home was in a well established neighborhood. a Beautiful and Elegant home! Definitely recommend Raindrops on Roses ! the Hosts are great people! We will return for sure! There was an optional wine tasting available and that was fun too!

very friendly landlords (thanks to Barry and Denise for the warm welcome, incl. tour through the house); very good breakfast prepared with love; very nice separate living room just for us; we were the first guests from Germany, but will not be the last, as we will do a lot of advertising for Barry and Denise - and will definitely come again ourselves
