How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast was crowded, had to go back. Didn't realize it was so close to 6 flags, which was our fault. Would have been great 20 years ago when we had small kids.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bathtub was a little outdated, and the mattress was slightly saggy.
Comfortable, clean, pleasant staff, nice indoor and outdoor pools, hot breakfast, good parking, very close walking distance to great escape park, but not noisy, close to restaurants, close to Lake George, easy access to highway to Saratoga raceway. Reasonable price. Easy check-in, easy checkout.

I couldnt apply my stay towards rewards bc it was booked thru 3rd party. Indoor pool looked filthy. People were swimming in t shirts, not swim shirts. Saw residue floating in wated in the early morning Smoking needs to be across the lot away from entrance and exit. HORRIBLE smells and embedded smells in entranceway. Rugs in halls have odors in them
Ample parking, clean room and bath, disability friendly, good breakfast, I had a very professional, welcoming and friendly staff check me in. In incidently same lady when i checked out.

The people celebrating around the fire pit were too loud and my family and l couldn't sleep well.
The cleanliness of the room was greatly appreciated and the location of the hotel was great.

Breakfast was good but the area it is in could definitely be setup better to make the flow during the busy times go easier.
Room was very clean. Staff was pleasant. Great location especially if visiting the amusement park next door.

Pool was too crowded to even use. We were on 3rd floor above it so we could get a good view of it. Not to mention there was a full boat party going on in it until well after 10 pm.. Guests down the hall were up until after 1 am, talking loud outside our door, kids running up and down hallway screaming and laughing, the room they were staying in and neighboring room kept slamming doors all night long, super annoying. Didnt get much sleep. My fault for not bringing my earplugs, and not the hotels fault for rude and inconsiderate people.
This is our 2nd stay here. The room was very clean, all the ammenities you want, plenty of towels, extra pillows, blankets, nice quiet air conditioner. Bed was very comfortable. Property is well maintained, nice fire pit and pool. Breakfast was pretty good too! Will stay again!

Room 105 smelled like a wet dog. My experience with hotels tells me that it is the filter on the AC unit that needs to be cleaned. The red cushioned chair in the room is dirty, with stains on it, and the shower has black mold starting to grow on the bottom of the shower wall, where the tub meets the backslash. Plastic silverware for breakfast is always cheap, in my opinion, and the fork broke off in my Canadian bacon as I was cutting.
The hotel was beautiful and the firepit outside was the best! So nice to meet other guests and relax by the fire. Coffee station 24/7 was the best 👌 👍 Scrambled eggs at breakfast were really good 👍 😋

Place was very clean. We enjoyed the pools and using the outdoor grills
Everyone at the front desk were so accommodating and friendly. Any staff member we met in the hallway were also very friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

The facilities were run down. There were several broken floor tiles in the middle of our bathroom floor. There were also several broken tables in the breakfast area.
I thought the continental breakfast was good. There was a nice variety of foods available. The indoor pool and spa were nice as well.
