I liked how clean the pool area was. There was painting being done by the elevators. There was nightly maintenance being done in the parking lot and around the building. There was someone available at all times at the font desk. Very good facility compared to the reviews I read.

Rooms and amenities were kind of dirty. They quick sweep the bathroom floor just in the middle of it. The room phone did not work.

Very close to the beach. Comfy beds. Breakfast included. Free parking. The room had a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen with the fridge, microwave, gas stove, coffee maker, etc. We did not use it though.

The tv stopped working on the last day (use it for background noise, not super important) but the main complaint I have is there are no “do not disturb” signs for the doors and housekeeping woke us up everyday. (We are late sleepers)

The hotel was really great for the cost! Decently clean and there was a little bar called the boozy egg on the first floor that was perfect.

The room smelled of damp and closed. Likely the weather and location doesn’t help. Possible remedy maybe dehumidifiers.

The personnel were great, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool and bar area was secluded which was a nice feeling. Sheets were soft and clean.

The room was very dirty. Stains on the sheets. Crumbs on the bed. We even found dirty Q-tips on the floor. It seemed obvious they didn't change bedding sheets. Looked like they just pulled the sheets up. The continental breakfast was very minimal. No eggs, sausage, etc. They offer cereal, bagels, yogurt, and waffles. The crowd waiting in a very small room was overwhelming because everyone was waiting to make waffles because thats about the most of what they offered. We also spoke with the manager and asked about leaving a day early due to Hurricane Erin and he ensured we would be reimbursed for 1 night since the requirements were only 2 nights and we were there beyond the minimum requirement. They also stated we would receive a AAA discount for our stay. When we went to leave I asked for a receipt to which I was told I wouldn't get from them since I booked through booking.com so they gave me nothing to show what should have been paid. Booking.com showed I was originally supposed to be charged $901 for Aug 16th-20th. However, we left on the 19th and they still charged us $910. So we clearly did not get reimbursed for leaving 1 day early or AAA discount.

The location was great. Close to the beach. Parking was plentiful. Staff were very friendly.

Only critique I have is that the breakfast area is too small for the amount of families that stay here. It needs to be expanded. There is really no room and gets crowded quickly. Need a better selection for the continental breakfast.

Fast and Courteous check in. Customer service was wonderful. Tiki Bar and restaurant had great food. Open access straight to the beach. Good location

Needs lots of little repairs before they become big problems. Coving was coming off one wall, bathroom sink leaking around the faucet, carpets need to be replaced. Security bar on our door was missing . Housekeeping seemed to be adequate but not exceptional.

The bed was not comfortable at all. And I wasn't that familiar with the area, so from the map, it looked like the hotel was closer to the beach for a better beach view. However, it was one hotel back from the beach. I was looking for an actual sea view for the hotel and this is what booking gave me. Next time, I will check into the area much better to actually see how close the view is. I wanted to be able to hear the waves crashing at night from my room, not the bar and traffic. Also, the continental breakfast wasn't too satisfying. You have the choice of cereal, muffins, bagels, or waffles. The line is crazy, so the 2nd morning, we just ordered food from the tiki bar. Usually with a continental breakfast at a hotel we get bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins and bagels. I just feel for the price for 2 nights it could have been a little cheaper.

I like that it wasn't that far of a walk to the beach. I also like the little tiki bar downstairs and the live bands. The hotel and tiki bar staff were all very nice. It wasn't terribly priced for food at the bar. They are very good portions. I like how close we were to sunsations and the mini golf. We were able to walk to these locations.

Our bathroom was definitely not fully clean as there was a ball of dark hair on the bathroom floor... I'm blonde. There was cardboard in the bathroom that looked like a box to a loose item on the wall and bent covers on the bathroom were half gone and rusted - obviously not well taken care of. There was food crumbs under the bed and couch... only know because my sons binky fell a few times. Finally, the dish towels had stains but thankfully I brought my own to wash his bottles.

There was a musky smell, that we got used to over our stay but I did notice again as soon as we were home unpacking. There was what appeared to be mold/mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom, unknown brown marks/smears on a couch cushion and lampshade, as well as long black hairs all over around the shower and stuck on the curtain that were there when we checked in (none of use have long or black hair). It appeared that no one has vacuumed the floors well and the caulking around the toilet was caked full of sand and gunk and obviously not an area to get cleaned often. 7 of 8 pillows were completely flat, beds a bit hard and uncomfortable.

Proximity to ocean, free breakfast and kitchenette were nice. The two queens and pull out sofa gave plenty of room to our family of 4 as well.
