How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were placed right behind the reception desk and it was very loud in our room. Sounded like they were having a party out in the lobby at midnight.
The beds were really comfortable and the pool and hot tub were nice

Pool area. People need to watch their kids throwing each other around and into pool. Obnoxious kids being rude. No one willing to let us use ladders or steps when ask nicely. Rude. Wanted a pool and the experience really ruined it for us.

The smell of weed permeating throughout the whole hotel literally as soon as you walk in. Really shouldn't be any difference than regular smoking. Smells horrible!!! Outdated rooms too cluttered, doors did not feel secure Loud thumping above us at 12am

It just looked rundown with the old looking parking lot around the property and they were sketchy people in the parking lot smoking weed wearing robes. It didn’t match the vibe of the brand new restaurant area in the French Quarter nearby.

It’s run down, and the doors don’t shut by themselves so you have to make sure to pull it shut so it locks. Very noisy neighbors (not the places fault), and the place had a little bit of an odor. Overall wouldn’t stay again. It didn’t make me feel comfortable.
Location is great and pet friendly. Also reasonably priced and beds are comfortable.

It’s was exactly what I needed, an affordable place to stay close to the locations I needed to go to. Lots of food and stores close by to get the necessary items for the stay. More breakfast selections would be nice in the future.

There was no food at breakfast. My room was canceled then changed with barely an hours notice without adjusting the price. The front desk was rude when we requested a second blanket.
There was little to recommend itself compared to other locations that we have stayed at.

They really need to keep up with their breakfast though if they serve breakfast they need to keep up with it and make sure during the breakfast hours there's always breakfast there

The room lacked drinking glasses and coffee cups. There was no coffee maker. Asked for an extra blanket was told housekeeping was closed so no extra blankets were available. Only one small bar of soap in the bathroom.

TV had a max capped volume which was relatively. They didn't give enough amenities for showering suck as body wash conditioners ect. The jacuzzi wasn't open until 7 am we only booked because online said it had jacuzzi suites in room available and they didn't have that option at all let alone available.

Room located next to stairwell and could hear clomping on stairs long into the night. Not enough staff to accomodate all the visitors for the eclipse event.

Morning breakfast was in a very small room. Almost everything was out. There were no chairs and people were standing to eat because there were signs to not take your food upstairs. The coffee was empty there and in the front lobby. This was the night of the eclipse, so I give them grace for being so busy! But for a hotel with that many rooms I think they need to improve their breakfast.
Right off the freeway, easy to park. The pool was amazing and we were allowed to stay for free until noon which was also a game changer because I had to remote work. I really liked the staff gentleman at the front desk. He was very nice both on the phone and in person.
