How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Previous occupant had smoked in our room. I sprayed alot of room deorderizer to neutralize the smell. The pool seemed to have alot of chlorine in it. The check in staff didn't provide to much hotel info..we had to inquire to get info. The morning staff seemed more welcoming and helpful

Usually I book hotels with a balcony, because we were only staying a few nights, I decided to pass on getting a hotel room with a balcony. But I really missed having a balcony while staying.
The location was great! Many restaurants and grocery store right next to the hotel. We enjoyed the Red River state park and the Ark Encounter while staying there. Both just a little drive away.

The room floor was dirty. Had hairpins on the floor, so it had not been properly cleaned. Plugs between the beds were loose, and chargers were a problem to keep plugged in.
Been staying here for a few years when we visit. Always friendly and great breakfast.

The elevator was very shaky and stopped at our floor, then dropped. We had to wait a bit and the try the 3rd floor button again. It worked that time,but it was very scary when it dropped.
The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

I didn't like that I had to download an app to wash my clothes. The minimum amount to load into the app was $10. You could not do less than that. Neither one of the machines told you beforehand how much they were going to be. To wash was $4 and to dry was $4. After it was all said and done, I had $2 left. However, the app did not "have a way" to give you back your money and the hotel manager didn't have a phone number for me to call. I know it's just $2, but now it's sitting somewhere in limbo and will probably never be used again.
Nice atmosphere. Amazing breakfast. Very comfortable bed.

I think $35 for a dog is a bit steep and on the website it said $20. So maybe some updating would be helpful!
Our room was very clean! The welcoming staff member was just that- I think her name was Ashley. She was very sweet! Breakfast was very good! We appreciate it being a full breakfast.

Bed was terrible! It felt like I had a rod going across my back! A/C in the room didn’t work good. It would turn on for 2 minutes then off It wouldn’t constantly stay on therefore it didn’t stay cool. I sleep without a sheet or comforter.

While the beds were clean, the room wasn't. Tables and benches were not dusted. Toilet ran all night.

Eggs were watery. People smoking weed outside at table by pool- although that may be perfectly legal in Kentucky.

Great location and beds was comfortable I slept so good it was very quiet. Breakfast was good , many choices on the bar. Staff was friendly checkin and checkout was super fast. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the halls and hotel and our room was spotless so hats off to the one who cleaned our room she was so friendly and great We will return when in Georgetown Kentucky we was very impressed with the room and price was super great for 2 nites. Keep up the good work !. 10 stars.

When we arrived the room was not what I had booked. In the photos The beds were in one room and a small sitting area separate from the bedroom. My room had the sleeper sofa right next to the bed. I was not happy about this. When we opened the door a smell hit you in the face. It was horrible body odor. I went to front desk and got some air freshner and sprayed it. The smell still lingered during our stay. Except for these two issues it was good.
Close to shopping, dining, very quiet, staff very friendly and helpful
