Setup in the main bathroom was a bit awkward with the TP location. Would have loved to do a load of laundry. Was confused about where to put recycling and compost.

Quiet. Park across the street. Easy to walk to food/bus-to-downtown. Hot water kettle got a lot of use.

The property is on the corner of a main thoroughfare and traffic can be heard zipping by at all hours, especially at bedtime. We did end up getting used to it after the first couple of nights though. There is also a fire station directly across the street from this property, and when we first arrived we were very put off about this. However, the engine drivers were very respectful of the neighbors. They left on their calls and returned to the station with only their emergency lights on... NO sirens were used!! So no problem there.

The property was very well appointed, thoughtfully furnished, and extremely clean. The yard/flower gardens were beautifully landscaped and maintenanced by Roy. It was so easy to contact Roy by text if we had any questions and he responded quickly.

Very gorgeous home in the perfect neighborhood for children. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the home and neighbors. Roy & Peggy were very sweet as hosts. We had an amazing time.

The hosts were so incredibly welcoming, I really felt at home and that if I had any problems (which I didn’t), they would have been easy to solve. The location is great, just next to a park, and it was very quiet at night.

Our home lost power and heat. After 3 days staying in a 40 degree home, we moved to this most comfortable duplex. Roy is a great host.

Charming Spacious, well appointed, and Comfortable duplex house located in a desirable neighborhood close to restaurants, coffee shops, parks and plenty of verdant areas. The house is stocked with a all the necessities and modern amenities we’ve become accustomed. It has a full kitchen with everything needed. Roy and Peggy were very gracious, attentive and friendly hosts.

Location was great as you are in walking distance of plenty of places to eat and drink etc. Owners are extremely nice. They have everything there for you that you might forget (shampoo, toothpaste, trash bags)and in addition has washing machine, dryer, full kitchen with utensils. For the value it is a really really great place to stay. Even if it's $500-1k more expensive than a hotel room I would stay here as you get so much more amenities

Quaint Duplex with everything we needed. Lovely park across the street to stroll. Very good location that is driving distance to everything. Roy was a very friendly host.

My sister and I were meeting my father and his wife for his 85th birthday. We were flying in late so I asked the host if he/she could meet my father instead. Roy was there and even helped carry in some of their groceries. Roy was super kind and my father said he would love to have him as a neighbor.

Great place, good location, very clean and comfortable. Roy, the host, had all the details you would want but very rarely see. Coffee and fruit were in the well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds! Great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Totally recommend!
