The condo was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed, including great kitchen supplies, a very comfy bed, lots of towels and a cooler. We were able to borrow beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and other equipment from the front desk, as well as games. The staff was very friendly and professional, and responded quickly to texts. The pool is a little smaller than the photos make it seem, but it was a perfect temp and a great spot to take a dip after a sweaty day. Very happy with our stay and would definitely come back!

I felt like I was my own slice of the island with all the items we needed to rent to make our days/activities there fun. We’d definitely go back.

Everything! room is beautiful and spacious, little garden, clean, staff is so friendly. Location is amazing, i'd always be in the north shore and not too close to the more busy part of hanalei!

Nothing to dislike here.

The Makai Club Resort was wonderful for our family! The cottage was large, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for a family of 5. The staff was wonderful. They were accommodating, friendly, and always available to help anyway possible. The grounds are manicured to perfection and the pool/bbq area were amazing. We will be back again! Thank you, Makai Club Resort!

The couch cushions could use a bit of an upgrade.

The staff was VERY helpful. The space was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Location was great for the things we did. Appreciated that they had beach chairs to use throughout the week. We did not use any of the following but if we had been there with our children and grandchildren were: Book, games and DVD's.

Amazing location on the island, and incredible views out of the balcony into the rain forest. Walking distance to an amazing coffee shop with a great view.

Not sure how the cleaning system works there. I tidied and through out the garbage each day. Tiny pool.

Lady at reception on my arrival was the nicest staff member I met since arriving in Hawaii, almost 2 weeks ago and having stayed in 3 different places already. Welcoming, informative and humorous! Bed extremely comfortable. Room 10/10 for cleanliness. AC and fan perfect. Parking right outside and free. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in room very handy. The grounds of the hotel are pretty and well maintained.

The pool and hot tub were small. For so many units, it would have been nice to have a second hot tub. We couldn't use the hot tub on a couple of occasions because there were people inside already.

Loved this resort which was perfectly located with easy access to Hanalei beaches and hiking trails. Plenty of good restaurants and food trucks nearby. We stayed in a bottom unit which felt like a dark basement at first but we liked that it was private and welcomed daily visits from the chickens on the back patio. Having a washer/dryer was very helpful!

The apartment does not have AC. It was fine for our stay since the weather was cooler, however, may not be comfortable in the warm/hot summer months.

We rented a 2-bedroom apartment that was clean and spacious. The high ceilings, lanais, and two king-sized beds were a highlight. The pool and hot tub area was great. Staff members Jackie, Jamie, and Andrew were hospitable and helpful throughout our stay.

This place is quiet and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. If you would like to stay on the north side of the island, this is good.

While the general location is good, the resort is not within easy (less than 30 minutes) walking distance to store, supermarket, beach or restaurants.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment, with full kitchen and laundry. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the nice pool and jacuzzi. Staff were great providing information. Office lends beach chairs, umbrellas and bicycles. The general location is good for exploring the North Shore and everything it has to offer.

You have to drive to go to the beach

The bed was extremely comfortable, the welcome package was very thoughtful. The big surprise was the library with stories from Kauai. Loved it!
