Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomStaff very friendly, efficient & helpful. Room exactly as described, small but had everything I needed. Great shower & plenty of room in bathroom. Great safe which easily held my camera. Even a view of Empire State Building! I did one free guided walk organised by hotel - really enjoyed it & wish I had time for more. Breakfast offered great coffee & basic selection of pastries, bagels, etc., reasonably priced and convenient. Very handy for subway.

On site cafe/bar is handy for a quick breakfast. Small convenience store just outside the main building for water etc and plenty of restaurants closed very early by.

LithuaniaTV remote battery almost dead - ended up not using TV. Didn't tell reception, but if you guys want to fix it - room 1729. Power sockets have USB to charge directly via cable. They didn't work. Anyway for security reasons don't use unknown sockets or USB cables - better use your power charger. Lobby waiting area sockets on the floor not working. Maybe intentionally to avoid long chilling there, but would be good before flight.
David is the guy at the reception, who made our check-in experience brighter after a long flight. Actually staff is great there. Just like friends. Best is location. Yes it's close to Times Square, but also luggage rolling distance to Bus Terminal (we took bus to Newark Airport for 26USD/person there). A/C/E Subway lines underneath. Very handy. I liked the big area to relax at the lobby level. When all NYC is so commercial around you - it's small things that makes you feel normal person not a cash-cow. They also promote free walking tours. We didn't go, but it's nice they have it. Plenty of power sockets in the room! Every bed has 2 doubles and one double near the door. Great example for those 5 star hotels. Bunk beds each has their own TV. Shower is BIG for such a small room.

I did not have breakfast nor any food or drink from PODS. I LIKED TO cleanliness and location. I liked the separate elevators since it seems more secure. I loved that there were NO BED BUGS/ insects/rodents!!!

United KingdomCleanliness could have been better. Areas by the bedside had dust gathered which could have been solved by vacuuming the area. The shower could do with a deep clean as dirt was gathering around the drain and shower tray. The shower curtain is too short, therefore water was flowing out the shower area making the bathroom wet and slippery.

The location is fantastic, it is very close to everything. There were tons of food options available nearby. The room is compact but mostly soundproof, we slept soundly. We had to ask for a kettle.
