The property was generally dirty. There were cigarette holes in the bedding and hair on the shower walls. The towels were yellowed, and there were no basic amenities such as a kettle, cutlery, or crockery. The internet was extremely slow—I couldn’t even stream a Netflix movie.

Bathroom had no place to put anything on sink. Bedframe metal was sticking out. Hurt my ankle. Bottom of bathroom door needs to be shaved. Need to open hard and close hard. Blind in bathroom broken, can see in. Two ice machines outside don't work. Office was closed Sunday at 9am. Coffee and breakfast area but not open.

Your typical old style 1960 Hotel. The Hotel is outdated. Needs major, major upgrades. The Office was close in the morning, so No Coffee or Breakfast. On a major road, so getting out of the driveway took some time. Especially if you're trying to make a left turn.

The location was great. Not far from all the active tourist area. Plenty of parking. Great brewery down the road. The price was fair, if comparing to the top Hotel chain in the area. They were very pricey. Room was comfortable. Everything worked, A/C, Bathroom, Television. so a plus.

Is an older motel. So is not statement in fashion. Don’t think wi fi is available.

Location was reasonable and close to Newport attractions. The price was attractive for clean facilities. Was quiet and peaceful and close to shops and services while not in middle of touristing crowds.

Not in good shape. There were weekly and monthly units on the same property as the daily units. These long term rentals were very run down.

It was for the most part what I expected a place to sleep. Shower water didnt get all that hot and didn't have all that much pressure. Cell service was minimal it was mostly what I expected. Bed was comfortable. On the plus side it was right next to the bus stop.

The musty smell!!! The floors were disgusting dirty. You couldn't walk bear foot because the soles of your feet would get totally black. Is that black mold??? Wipe the floors and see how much black stuff you pick up. Is that the smell of mold?

No phone, no bedside light because cord was too short, had to move end table to the center of the room to use my CPAP with an extension cord that I had brought with me, no grab rails in bathroom or tub, floor was slippery, 3 strips in bottom of tub not enough for safety.

Maybe this is not typical, but the motel office was locked in the morning, so we did not have access to coffee and I had to call the phone number on the door to find out how to check out. Better communication up front would be helpful. The property could also use some TLC around the exterior- it has a slightly abandoned feel.

The location was very convenient for getting to downtown Newport. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and nicely updated.

Room floor was not clean. Staff were not there in the office nearly all the time, you need to call them and wait for about 20 minutes till they show up. Ice and water dispensers were out of order.

Value for money was okay, parking was inside the motel which was very convenient. The location was near multiple points of interest

My room was not ready until an hour after check-in time. The two ice machines and the soda machine were broken. The Wifi did not work and even my cell phone hotspot did not function. (Apparently this is due to the naval base across the street, so the hotel is aware of this problem.)

No coffee available. No coffeemaker. No ice machine. Your feet will turn black if they are wet and you walk around on the floor of the room, so keep your shoes on!

I liked that my room at this Hotel was clean upon my arrival with great water pressure and hot water to enjoy in the shower. I liked that my room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator with freezer compartment. I liked that my room had excellent TV service and internet access. I liked that the beds in my room were comfortable (not too firm not too soft). I liked that my room had adequate heat for a cold November night. I liked that this Hotel is located convenient to downtown Newport, yet far enough away to avoid the traffic and congestion. I have stayed at this Hotel on 3 separate occasions and plan to return again. I liked that this Hotel maintains a "no frills" attitude and remains affordable unlike most all other Newport properties.

Tried to checkin around 7pm and the office was locked ( I had a reservation prepaid ). The WiFi was terrible. The pillows were old and lumpy - as were the replacements.

No breakfast. Fair location. Good price.
