The bonoventure beach nearby is not dog friendly . Didn’t have maid service for the 3 day stay. Did ask for towels and received them but did not pu dirty ones. The window on our room was dirty on outside.

The grounds. Beautiful flowers and landscaping. Breakfast was good except for my daughter who is a vegetarian. Need some yogurt and more fruit at buffet.

Roaches

Our room never got cleaned. Ooops! I ended up using a towel to sweep up the sand that got tracked in. We had a cool jacuzzi tub but there was no plug. E made one that worked pretty good. Be aware that you’re right next to the freeway.

The location is awesome! So close to the beach and easy walk to downtown. Chris at the front desk was amazing, super friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable.

No ventilation or mirror light in the bathroom, musty smell, small room.

Location was great, close to the beach Nice breakfast included. Room was the "Vicor's Cottage", great view, very antique room: old antique furniture, little ventilation, musty smell, small room, but okay for the price.

The bathroom was freshly renovated, but the water pressure in the shower was poor, and the water wouldn’t get more than warm. The beautiful fireplace in the unit didn’t work. Management was less than concerned as I was told the unit isn’t advertised with a fireplace.

It was conveniently located, beautiful views, old world charm.

The fireplaces were not working, and that is specifically one of the reasons I booked the hotel and they did not inform me until I called them later on in the evening. That was one of the reasons why I booked that room in particular.

The shower leaked all day and night. The room smelled. Not sure what it was. The backside of the AC unit was eaten up by the weather. Didn't look safe. Notified the front desk. Parts of the building looked really run down and unkempt.

the breakfast was disappointing to other places we have been to toaster did not toast only warmed bread. bacon quality sucked! no waffles or pancakes for non egg eaters. $10 a night parking really!!

Restaurant was closed. Bummer. Windows were busted but im sure they will fix. Looks like they are renovating. If bringing dogs, are allowed but only have one spot in middle of parking lot of grass for restroom, dogs not allowed other parts of grass. Signs everywhere. Other than that its 4 out of 5

We would stay again. We luckily got the updated room is clean and spacious. Good price for our stay.

My room was too close to Highway 101 and the noise of the car traffic bothered me.

The Pierpont is located in an excellent spot. It is a 5 minute drive to Ventura's fabulous Main Street. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and pier.

No complaints at all. The staff was great. We had a problem with the TV at first and the staff was there in no time to fix it!

My husband and I stayed in a cottage. It was clean and lovely. We enjoyed the privacy and the patio. We could walk across to breakfast each morning, which was as you'd expect and the outside patio there was a nice place to eat. Overall we had a good break from our usual busy lives and enjoyed our stay very much.
