We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOnly one elevator was working and the parking was crazy. They need to enforce the parking rules as there were lots of vehicles without a parking pass on the dash. We had to park in a place and it was tight, ended up scratching our truck when trying to back out of it tight space.
After moving to a different room, it was fine. We had to move because of roaches in our room.

United StatesThe exterior of the hotel along with the hallways to the rooms, definitely need to be updated in well lit. We arrived in the evening and it was a little unsettling. We felt it could have better breakfast options other than just donuts maybe a few more options.
We like the hotel overall, as well as all of the amenities unfortunately, the weather the first two days was not great so we were unable to use all of them.

CanadaInitially, the room that was assigned to me whereby the window has no lock and the window blind is faulty. The staff gave me a new room because the previous room is not safe.
The room was clean and very comfortable. The beach is really beautiful. The heated pool is clean. I love their fresh donuts, it’s really delicious.

United Statesthat there were just 2 tables to sit and relax outside at, no on site restaurant, and that you pay extra for resort fees and there is no resort, the amenities were not as good as in the past. The towels to be blunt sucked and if you're a larger person not big enough
Easy access to the beach, centrally located, easy to get to restaurants and shops.I think the renovations are going to be great looking

United StatesThis time around I didn’t like the fact that because we were on the second floor and they were doing construction. It was very loud and we felt exposed because we wanted to open the curtains for some natural light and to watch the ocean views but there were construction workers walking that would look right into the room. The noise was bothersome.
This was our second time staying here and I really love the hotel. Their family suite is the best out of any hotels I’ve been in. I love the fact that it has the heated inside pool especially since both times we’ve been here have been in January. The view is amazing and it is right on the beach.

CanadaTo start with, the beds. The mattresses are saggy and bad. 6 nights were rough. And they are not regular queen sizes. They are more of extra-doubles. Flag number one goes to the make-up photos of the rooms. That's not cool, because it does not give you a good idea of how your room really is. Flag number 2, there's no mention of the pet fee amount - Heads up: It's 50 USD per pet per night. (Overall I paid 10 to 25 elsewhere - it's at minimum double and it increased my reservation by 1/4 of the amount I have paid previously) - Keep it in mind. Third flag, there are multiple different rooms and the description and offer of the options are very confusing. We thought we were getting a full kitchen room with one queen bed, but it was a kitchenette with 2 "queen" beds (not bad I must say). But you do have options that are not oceanfront and you have multiple buildings in the property. I'll post a picture of the map so you can be smarter than me and check what you're getting (Call them to make sure you have the room you want). They got in touch to check if everything was fine until I complained about the unadvised pet fee and bed size. I'm still waiting for the Manager to get back to me. Thanks Booking.com for taking care of it, though.
Location is key here. It is oceanfront to the letter. The beach is accessible from the hotel, and there are 2 pools just steps from the sand. You can sit at your room's door and keep an eye on the ocean all day if you want. The room is spacious, has good appliances, and has kitchen supplies. The housekeeping service is great, kind, and friendly. Lots of pets are welcome.

United StatesI will not hold storm damage against them in anyway and it is not part of this review. The exterior, indoor pool area needs a bit of TLC. The rooms we saw seemed to have been updated, exterior and pool room needs the same. This also may be out of the hotels control, but, Police were needed for a long-term guest near us that were obviously under the influence very early in the morning yelling and screaming from our floor at people down below in a domestic type situation. It seemed that this was on ongoing issue but maybe more security is needed.
Our room was great, it worked out well for our family as we had a separate bunk room for our daughters (could use a door) and Balcony with great views. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was nice and the pools were a great option for the ocean. The Ihop across the street was nice. Staff we interacted with were friendly and the doughnuts were as promised very good.

United StatesThere was a group of guests right below our room at a table on the lawn. They were screaming/partying all night long until at least 4am. And i dont mean a little. It was SUPER LOUD, with blaring music, and they were screaming VIVA CUBA at the top of their lungs, along with a lot of PUTO's if you know what that means. FOR HOURS!! We also heard small caliber gun shots 3x, but not sure if it was them or someone the beach. We hid in our rooms with the door closed so it was hard to tell. We usually leave the door to the balcony slightly open to enjoy the ocean sounds, not this time. This is so unlike Perrys. The next night they were doing the same thing but shut down around 11:30pm. I had complained to the front desk earlier that day so I dont know if they shut them down or what. Both the following mornings I looked down to see piles of garbage around the table they were at. These people were complete jerks. I felt bad the staff had to clean up after these rude guests. The staff has always been great.
I have stayed here 20x. Always clean, staff is great. IHOP across the street is nice too.

United StatesThings happen for sure but. We had an o er powering bleach smell upon entering our room. We wiped down the kitchen sink/counter and cooked some bacon in the microwave. The bleach smell was gone. Our key for the room failed all 3 days we were there. The staff (Raj/Reggie/Travis) were fantastic helping us out getting it fixed each day but it was a bit annoying.
We enjoyed the fresh donuts and coffee and the view of the Ocean from our room. The staff were all very nice and accomodating.

United StatesHurricane damage is understandable, for the appearance and repair of facility. The activity level was lacking as there is nothing too notable to do other than the beach and pools. The Tiki bar wasn’t open in the evenings, no music, no scheduled activities available to sign up for. Breakfast was not impressive. Listed as a resort, but didn’t offer full breakfast nor dinner.
Great location, very clean, quiet, and access to beach is wonderful. Resort staff was very friendly, and checked on us periodically. This was very nice.
