The hallways are pretty narrow and the doorway insulation isn't the best, so any noise outside the room (e.g., screaming children) is pretty apparent. Not the biggest deal, but a little frustrating when you're trying to sleep in on vacation and people are being inexplicably loud in the hall.

A beautiful and stylish building that's conveniently located within Old Town Pasadena. The rooms are clean and fully featured, they have multiple levels of underground parking, and some cool amenities in the lobby such as a bar, grand piano, checkers boards, and more. Didn't use the pool or fitness center, which are not centrally located in the hotel (this could be an advantage or disadvantage based on your preferences), but they seemed nice.

We had a king room with an interesting open concept with glass door to toilet and shower. Sexy for couples, but maybe not everyone’s cup of tea. Wish room had a little coffee maker or free coffee in the lobby.

It’s a beautiful historic building with a unique lobby (not like a bland hotel chain decor) and the pool is gorgeous! Water temp was brisk, but lovely on a hot day!

The style of the toilet area left no room for privacy. I thought I was back in the army.

The parking garage was excessively hot and out of the way from the room. You have to take two elevators to get to your room. Also not a fan of 30$ a night to park my car but that seems to be the norm these days Could offer some sort of food besides a continental breakfast

The hotel was in a great location for my stay. We enjoyed the lobby and outdoor patio and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and we could control the room temperature adequately.

The pool area was pretty manic. Its not a huge area and it was extremely busy. No chairs available and nobody really monitoring people "reserving beds" and not being present. We hung out poolside for 3-4 hours and there were a number of beds which looked to be in use but no actual people sitting on them. That could have been dealt with better given how busy it was. A selection of poolside drinks available and you could get some food in almost brown bag style delivery. Decent but not a "luxury" experience.

The room was as expected. Pretty standard hotel fare. Clean and ample size. You can tell this is an older hotel just by some of the finishes but it was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy enough, structure behind the hotel and you can walk straight into the lobby. $29/day with in and out privileges. A couple of EV chargers too.

The toilet isn’t really closed off from the room so if you poop everyone who is staying with you knows about it and the same with the shower set up it’s an open floor plan. Very open like no privacy

The property and location are very nice, the outside courtyard off of the lobby could use some work, a lot of the furniture is in sad condition. Also, there is no coffee maker or espresso maker in the room, you have to go down to the lobby and pay 3 to 5 dollars for a cup of coffee. Otherwise, our stay was nice, the folks that work there were accommodating and kind.
