There were SO many bees around the main pool. They were literally everywhere. They seemed to be on the pool deck, in the pool, in the cracks.

Large room. Very clean. Great views. Two amazing pools and spas. Great starting place to explore Anza Borrego. This is a cool place to stay in Borrego.

No complaints at all regarding the room itself except for the chain lock that was broken. It would be nice to have a room with that option working as a solo traveler. Also, as a solo traveler on this trip it would be nice to have the option for a quieter room and a room that is not connected to another room. Other than requesting a room for 1 person while booking I did not notify the hotel of this but it still would have been good to have a room without the connecting door and to be spaced out a little more since I was on a quieter trip on my own and I was surrounded by other louder guests. Not the hotels fault or even the low staffing as Summer visitors here indeed need less staffing. Even with the adjacent rooms filled the guests were pretty aware of quiet times as everyone seemed to quiet down around 10pm on their own.

I like the location of the hotel and the price. The hotel room is quite spacious for the price. The hotel staff was low due to summer so it made it a little strange to ask about some room details but the maintenance people were always on property and were quick to greet me in case I had any questions. I was contacted prior to my stay to notify me of summer hours and fewer staff and instructed on how to get my key and forms from a lock box.

Although the bed was a bit stiff, this is of course a personal preference. It took a while for the AC to cool down the room since it was 105 outside, but normal in that climate.

Very large rooms. Exceptionally friendly staff. Large pool and hot tub (2). Very clean room. This is a cute old western themed motel right at the end of town. Beautiful views from every room. We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints.

The Tv in my room was really small and the fridge was to small for any practical use...Like for leftovers from dinner.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. Gave me good choices of restaurants in the area and let me know about fun upcoming events.

I lioved my very spacious room. I also liked that there was a separate pool and jucuzzi area that was more quiet than main pool. I loved being able to use the fire pits in the RV grounds too.

Just a note. Shoes need to be worn when walking along the wooden stairs and balconies. Not from just the heat but from the worn look the property is showcasing from an old town prospective. (Not a show stopper)

Stayed for the proximity to the Park and the trail but got the extra added experience to stay in the old town look of the property. The rooms were definitely not old but clean, comfortable and worthy of a few nights stay. I experienced working AC that kept the room very comfortable. In room mini fridge that was great for keeping drinks and snacks cold along with wifi that worked across the property. The grounds were kept up very well with flowers, birds and squirrels all around the property. Ice machine is out near the pool (and works). The pool was clean and had plenty of chairs for a relaxing time after a long day in the heat and sun. Great experience and a wonderful stay

Marilyn was excellent checking us in, she was friendly and easy to talk to! The room was very clean, the sheets and towels super soft, and the air conditioner blew freezing!

Great location, between Anza Borrego State Park visitor center, and town of Borrego Springs. Liked the kitschy? façades, landscaping (lots of bird), and room.

The mattress was a little older but it did not affect my sleep.

It was a cute, spacious room and the grounds were delightful. We would definitely stay here again. We were told to get a burger and shake from the restaurant on site (from a local) but didn’t have time to so we’ll have to do so next time. Thank you.
