The parking options and instructions are not clear. I had to go to check in desk to determine parking location. Website states free parking on premises but it’s actually a ‘parking lot’ behind the hotel building with no clarity on towing or ticketing, and very dark…a bit scary to walk from parking lot to hotel entrance if you arrive after dark.

The property is beautifully decorated and staff is very hospitable. Location provides shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

The second bed was not an actual full pull-out, but a trundle. That was not clear in the reservation.

The hotel is very beautiful and in a great location. There were many restaurant options nearby and we were able to to walk to one for dinner.

There were a lot of bar items and the refrigerator didn't really have any space so I had to move things just to fit a few drinks. The soap on my sink didn't have packaging, but Liz gave me another. Sunday morning there is a sidewalk yoga class with an instructor teaching over microphone which was a bit bothersome. Lights through the shutters were bright at times whether they were slatted up or down. Should advise or have eye masks.

The aestetics were my style and layout of the room was super functional to support working away. Details were well thought out. Also hearing everyone in the gathering room was nice... all the conversation filtering through the hallway as we would exit the room. Location. Food.

Everything was great except in the room we had – a standard (deluxe) King – there were no drawers for clothes or nightstands next to the bed. The table behind the bed had decorative items taking up space, the table next to the sofa was covered with bottles of alcohol. The sink is a pedestal sink, so no place to put anything. The refrig is loaded with drinks for purchase so not available to store anything. We asked for extra hangers and made do. To charge our devices we placed our devices on the floor or bathroom sink. The room did have a luggage stand but no place to put it. It did have a bench by the door that we used for stacking clothes.

Loved the location and decor. Adorable small hotel (european) vibe right in Hyde Park. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The shower was wonderful with a rain showerhead. The espresso/coffeemaker is great. (No creamer provided.) LOVED the place, it’s like a vintage American movie set, but for more than an overnight or two, book a bigger room or ask about things below.

The parking situation isn’t the best since it’s open parking for everyone on the area so it’s hard to find a space sometimes.

Beautiful room. The linens and toiletries were nice, very cool vibe, and it felt homey. Easy access to restaurants and shopping.

The price was high around that time, which made the overall value go down but thats what we signed up for staying there during Gasparilla.

The locations was great. We stayed for Gasparilla and it was easy and convenient to get where we going.

Husband and I were at Palihouse because Hurricane Helene forced us to evacuate our home in same city. We found it a wonderful refuge at a difficult time for all area residents. One staffer was very glum. But she lhad left a flooded house to come to work day after storm passed. Hot water was off part of time due to city shutting off gas.
