I wish they had some restaurant or in-dining option, even simple dishes would be good. Restaurants in town (nearby) were all crowded.

Excellent location, clean rooms, dog “kit” when traveling with pets including dishes, a towel, and sheets. Staff was friendly!

We got one of the dog friendly rooms so no carpet on floors made it a bit cold. On the other hand, it was super clean. Long stairs to get to the room may make it difficult for some people, but it was not a problem for us

We stayed at The Palace Hotel in Port Townsend to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Much to our pleasant surprise, the hotel staff had upgraded our room & provided us with a nice bottle of wine to help us celebrate. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of town within easy walking distance of shopping and dining. We would definitely come back!!!

I say this about every hotel, but the bed was too hard and I woke up sore.

You can't beat the location. You'll be right down in the shopping district with the Sound just across the road! The room was large enough to have a little dining table with chairs in it. We woke up to the seagulls doing their thing! Parking right by the hotel.

Mattress was very firm and bouncy, and bedframe was really noisy with movement. Toilet seat did not fit toilet, and it moves around when using it.

Location is great, right on Water St and walkable to many shops and food options. Size of room was unexpectedly large, amenities in room (kitchenette) were great, mostly new, and very clean. Shower/tub was new and good pressure of water. Many comfy pillows on the bed to adjust to your liking.

Quite a climb and hike up steep stairs to reach our room. Not for persons with mobility issues! It would be nice if the hotel provided a basic continental breakfast as many area restaurants (within walking distance) did not appear to be open for breakfast.

Loved the unique layout of the property and each room being different. Room and entire building were extremely clean and well maintained. Appreciated having kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. so that we could prepare our own breakfast in the room. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet.

It's a bit pricey for one night with no real amenities but we love the location and the hotel for what it is and was so we'll keep paying and watching for any specials

There's no elevator and we were on the top floor, so we got a little workout carrying up the luggage. If you're considering this hotel, ask how many flights up you'll have to walk.

Location ideal and room was spacious, quiet and had everything needed: plenty of towels, fridge, microwave, etc. Parking available on site. Hotel is located in the middle of everything so no need to drive
