How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room was a bit small. The receptionist at the check in (21st of august) insists to sell us a room upgrade telling us that we got assigned the smallest room, but we were just arrived and she said several times to buy am upgrade but no one asked it, also because we were doing the check in so I hadn’t seen the room yet.

Property comments state recent renovation however this was not the case. Beds were uncomfortable, curtains were torn and frayed, safe was not mounted into wall securely, air conditioner was extremely noisy and sounded like a truck in our room and lastly water in shower was trickling - making it impossible to have a quick shower.

Verified reviewThe only positive thing about this hotel is the location. The front desk gentleman was very polite and helped me as much as he could.
The staff are very nice and polite. It is not at all as pictured. It is worse than a highway motel…. Upon check-in, I went up to the room and was amazed in every bad way you could imagine. I tried to check out and cancel half hour after check-in or less, I could not have to dispute charge and went to another hotel for my two night stay.

Really nothing. The only thing I didn’t find to be all around good where the bed frames that were kind of rickety and the mattresses just a tad thin. That said they were still pretty comfortable.

My room had no air an I complained the first night their an nuttin was done about it an then I went down stairs again Saturday in the morning to tell them my room is so hot and nothing was done about it till 11.45 at night an moved me to a room with flys an bugs in the shower

I asked for a room with natural light and I got that facing the street. However, the room had blackout curtains which were extremely aged and only worked via a wall switch remote. Which was disconnected so I was never able to put the curtains up to receive natural light. On top of this it was quite a big room 4x4 metres .. No desk no toaster kettle or fridge. Just a bed. The bedframe was quite bent and buckled no matter what direction you move or if you try to turn over on the bed in your sleep it would make endless noises . The mattress was also very thin and spring and definitely old. Felt like a hostel bed from the late 90’s .. The bathroom wasn’t accessible bathroom .. upho first use the toilet must’ve been clogged from the previous person in the room. It was not flushing at all… the sink tap had great pressure but was leaking all over the floor. In the shower barely had any water pressure at all. On top of that the nozzle to turn the water to hot was broken. So I could barely get hot water. I detailed reception they sent someone from maintenance to fix it. They plunge the toilet. And turns out there was a lot of hair and dirt grime in the nozzle to turn the shower water to hot temperature so he replaced it. Hat off to him. He was the loveliest man and got on top of it very quickly, which was great.! To be honest, housekeeping and reception all the staff were fantastic! However, the next morning I discovered the sink tap was still leaking . And although the nozzle for hot water had been fixed, I still struggled at times getting hot water. Facing the street as much as I wanted natural light probably wouldn’t recommend endless yelling, screaming, swearing horns, police sirens ambulance. It was just endless noise. And clearly the windows are not very soundproof. Overall extremely disappointed in the quality of the room for the price that I paid .. The shower and the bed mattress and frame for me were the key points. I just didn’t feel comfortable.

Small room also they didn’t not refund the deposit and i have call the bank they said there is nothing for refund… and im calling the hotel nobody answered.. i never complained about any hotel before but its really bad experience with that hotel .. and also there was a leaking from the air conditioning system a water leak and i have complained they have replaced the room after two days in the first day they say we have come for you and you refused and in the real no buddy came and i have go to the reception and they say okay sorry tomorrow we will replace the room

Verified reviewThe staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Literally next to Times square, 1 minute walk. Plenty of parking garages with 2 square blocks.
Very small rooms. AC did not work first night when 91°. Had to move to a different room. As a non-smoker, I was hit secretly with a $259 charge for smoking when a sensor supposedly detected smoke. Hit with another charge of $89, still won't tell me what that was for. Found charges on credit card after I was checked out and looked to confirm card charges. When I contested the charges, they said take it up with your bank.
