from the outside the hotel doesn't look that inviting - a bit like a motel - single storey building with each room having its own door and cars parked outside each one, but the rooms are lovely. I really liked it.

We had an early departure and the breakfast wasn’t available until after 7am, which seems a little late for a weekday. Since the fee for parking and breakfast was $35, that was a bummer. Not a big deal since the front desk clerk was able to get us some, but the ice maker was not available to guests and had to be requested at the front desk.

The hotel was in a good location with a parking lot and easy to access guest rooms. The front desk staff was nice and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable..

Would have preferred a better room coffee maker for those who drink a lot of coffee.

No pool or spa. Spa services can be reserved, but they are a the main La Fonda hotel in downtown, which is about a five minute walk.

Excellent location allows easy walking access to all primary downtown shopping, restaurants and sites. Exceptional breakfast daily, parking at no additional cost and spacious room with walk in shower.

The person at desk during check out was not friendly. I said good morning and he never responded.

Room was roomy and clean. The beds were super comfortable. The location was close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nothing - it was all good.

Our room was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well appointed. We enjoyed the small gas fireplace when temperatures dropped in the evening. Walking distance to the Plaza area, stores and restaurants. Convenient parking. Great breakfast served in a cheerful room. A welcome change of pace from the chain hotels. Highly recommend!

Steps are getting tough for us, with luggage.

Our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the hatch chilis on my eggs, and the yogurt machine! I appreciate the early breakfast time, and coffee. The location is perfect for us, quiet, and close to dining and shopping.

Only negatives were the fact that there wasn’t a non-dairy milk option, which was fairly surprising and an easy addition for the many people who don’t drink milk. Breakfast was a self-serve buffet, but there was still a tip jar on the counter. I get that tipping is prolific in the States, but it felt a bit tacky to have a jar there in an otherwise nice establishment.

Fabulous place to stay with a great location - 5 minute walk into the center of Santa Fe without it being in the actual busy parts. We walked nearly everywhere from here, and appreciated how easy it was to come and go with the car when needed. Our room was on the first floor, so there was nobody above us and it was very quiet and comfortable. Excellent shower, cozy bed, and although the room wasn’t huge, it was perfect for a few days. Loved the tea/coffee/cookies at reception in the afternoon (and tea/coffee in the evening). Breakfast was decent - eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, breakfast sausages (meat only, not veggie), and I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting. Staff were all very friendly. Regardless of the ‘negatives’ below, we would for sure stay here again if ever in Santa Fe, and would definitely recommend to anyone else.

The pillows....bed was ok, but not super comfy.

The pillows are pretty awful, we were wishing we would have brought our own. Breakfast was included, it is your basic breakfast, eggs, bacon etc.....despite the food being in the nice warming dishes, it was cold.
