The location couldn’t be better—the hotel is literally on the beach. The staff were very friendly, and having a garage is a big plus for San Diego. The complimentary breakfast was okay, though by European standards it had lots of sweets and very few healthier options (apart from apples and oranges, no fresh fruit or vegetables). We stayed in a Double Queen with our kids. The room wasn’t very spacious, but it was spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Restaurants, bars, and shops are just steps away, which made everything very convenient. I would definitely book the same hotel again when visiting San Diego.

The location is amazing. Parking is tight but very convenient. Breakfast was lovely. Such a variety of bars/restaurants/coffee/ice cream in the area.

Can't beat the location. Breakfast was excellent. We have stayed at this facility before and the city has done a lot to deal with the junkies and tweakers along the ocean walk. Upgrade to ocean front, it's worth it.

The included breakfast is only okay, but does include hot food and is good for families.

The location is excellent - our room was beach front and we were able to access the boardwalk/beach via the pool. It's been recently renovated and redecorated, and we found it very cute. Staff were courteous and friendly. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a long day at the beach! They offer parking at a reasonable hotel rate but we were able to park for free in a neighborhood a few blocks away.

We paid the daily fee for parking. It was gated so we felt safe parking the car. Unfortunately most of the spaces were compact and had large pillars every 2-3 spaces which made parking a large SUV challenging. I would give the hotel a higher rating if not for the parking. There is also some humming that comes from the minifridge and sometimes we would feel vibrations from the hotel's laundry service but it impede us from getting rest.

Location was excellent, hotel is right on next to the boardwalk and steps away from the beach. I enjoyed the breakfast and the room hotel had lovely beach-themed decor. Excellent surrounding restaurants within walking distance.

The location was fantastic for access to the beach, all the staff were warm and welcoming and the free breakfast was a bonus. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious with a lot of outdoor space to enjoy the incredible views. The pool and hot tub were also fab with no plenty of loungers with the options of umbrellas to offer some shade.

My room was close to the bars that were open until the wee hours, but the ear plugs that were provided helped!

The breakfast was good, but the eggs were a little cold, as well as the hash browns. Also, while we understand parking is a premium at PB, the extra $35 a day, is a little bit of a negative. It would be nice if you're paying so much per night to have parking thrown in, but again, we certainly understand.

The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. We loved that the beach was right outside our door, the ocean smell and the sounds all added to our enjoyment. The staff was very friendly and nice. This was a little get away for our 40th wedding anniversary and though we live locally, it felt like we were far away.

Neighbor in an adjacent room who was constantly yelling and smoking on his patio, which allowed the smell and smoke to enter our room.

Bottom floor beach front and are very satisfied with the location, everything is within walking distance including excellent food choices, including gluten free options.
