Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We didn't have hot water in the morning to take showers on Sunday and Monday. We even let the water run for about 10 minutes before getting in shower.

The housekeeping service was very assertive. We were told we would have one clean mid-week but then had multiple knocks, calls and texts every day from housekeeping even after we told them we didn’t need any cleaning. The only other negative was we didn’t have any backup supplies in our suite such as toilet paper, dishwashing soap or trash bags. However staff quickly brought some up after we requested those items.
Beautiful property! The pools were great and we enjoyed the private beach access. The rooms were spacious and we found the beds to be very comfortable.

You have to walk through the parking garage to get to the elevator to go to your room. Not enough parking in the garage where the elevator is located.

Right on beach.
The property is beautiful. The staff was beyond our expectations. We were in a tight spot to pick up our daughter and family at airport. They found a solution for us and our luggage.

Parking is covered which is good, but the parking spaces are tight. it’s a little difficult to maneuver. The food at the on-site bar and grill was disappointing.
The suite was spacious, beautiful, and very clean! The appliances were new; beds and bedding were great. There are grills, games, and two clean pools. The beach is easily accessible and also very clean.

Wish there was service at the beach or we could reserve chairs for the beach ahead of time.

No wifi in room
No wifi in our room - despite it saying on the website there was. I talked to the front desk and complained, offered to pay for wifi but nothign was available in the room. It is fraudulent advertising!

Room climate control, lack of s secured Wi-Fi option, and the subtle attempt to deliver a sales pitch for the "club".
No breakfast that we were made aware of and a Tiki Bar sort of set up represented as a "restaurant". Weather precluded use of the pool and beach.

so-called bar, dining and on property snack and gift store was disappointing. for this type of facility to have that type of snacks, gifts/souvenir, bar combo are was quite underwhelming. plus I was not too keen on the concierge trying to set me up for a vacation club info/sale meeting. I already have a couple of timeshares and I am not interested nor can support another. the concierge left a msg while I was out stating there was a gift at the desk for me. I went down and she was handing me local HHI books with dining info and coupons. I rec’d this the night before I was leaving. I would think this type of info would be handed out when I checked in so I could have used it while there. I rec’d it so late that I could not take advantage of the discounts available.
clean. newer. nice unit for 4 adults and a baby. good location. easy parking. nice view. beautiful grounds. was not able to check out the amenities due to time constraints and cold weather.
