When I wrote to the house after booking, they actually suggested a different room than I had originally booked and it was the best. The Rose Room is amazing!! house was very clean and private even though there are other people there. Easy stairs to the beach, plenty of outdoor space to relax and drink a glass of wine. We had a wonderful stay and only wish we had more time there. Perfect cross between and B&B and hotel.

Nothing, it’s just perfect

This was a last minute booking, due to a change in our journey through Oregon. And what a lucky day when we did! This place is so beautiful, the setting is stunning, the room was perfect, Erin and the team were outstanding. The inn has private access to the beach and a terraced garden with wonderful views. You can enjoy a glass(or two) of complimentary local wine and just relax, breathe and really enjoy yourself. We had a fab walk to the Umpqua lighthouse after a great breakfast and checked out feeling this was a real highlight of our trip

Nothing Ocean House has control over, like the weather.

The was roomy, welcoming, and the patio with a gate is a great feature that makes it easier to go out to enjoy grounds and beach.

The house is very nice with spacious rooms on the main floor and comfortable furniture around the fire. We were in to the SeaRose room which had an extended atrium attached. It was lovely and gave us a Birds Eye view of the winter storm. The staff led by Sherry was friendly and efficient. Outside offers a fire pit and trail to the beach. The breakfasts were delicious. We would love to book again for another time.

The only thing my partner and I both didn’t like was the bed. The mattress was way too soft and both our backs were so sore in the morning. That didn’t ruin our stay though, everything else was so perfect!

The attention to detail and the excellent service are on point! Beautiful amenities. We want to come back!

My husband wished it had a TV in our room. I wished it had a microwave in our room. Parking was very tight, hard to get in and out of.

The only thing I didn't like was that I was only there for one night! I could have stayed longer, it was that good.

Breakfast (stuffed French toast) was great. We loved the many places to sit and socialize/read. The building was well-maintained and stunning. The staff was very friendly. I will recommend it to everyone I know. It ranks up there with 4- and 5-star hotels I've stayed in.

The property was in an exquisite location on the cliffs, but accessible to the very walkable beach. The amenities, wine and cookies in the afternoon and a fire pit on the cliffs were a lovely and appreciated touch. The included breakfasts were delicious and the staff very caring and solicitous.
