How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lighting was very dim and business need to update check in and check out hours online. I stayed for a wedding. Definition of "we're just sleeping here." Suitable for 1 night

For the cheap rate, it was no surprise that nothing is updated, fancy, or new. I stayed four nights and had to get my key reactivated the second day; they also didn't even ask for my name or ID when I reactivated my key. I could have basically been any random person with an old key wanting to break into a room.
The location is great - on the highway and close to the interstate. It's very cheap and the room was surprisingly clean and quiet.

The bathroom wasn't completely clean (Tub had small bugs inside) making the shower unusable, the bathroom was pretty small overalll, the beds were okay comfort.
The location of the room was very nice! It wasn't overran with guest, very quiet and peaceful, Plenty of parking. nice staff.

I couldn't figure out what the sleep mode on the A/C unit did. It worked out as some decent white noise, but it probably ran all night when I really only needed it for a few hours.
Friendly staff that welcomed me in and helped me check out early in the morning. The appliances were basic, but sometimes all you need is a comfy bed and some Wi-Fi. And this hotel did just that for a quick one night stay.

Road construction nearby made getting in / out a bit dicey at certain times of day. Won’t last forever.

Bed was warped badly so I could not sleep well. No amenities at all just a coffee maker. Room and building seemed aged but somewhat kept in working order.
Convenient to where I was located after an event so took advantage of that. I did not do a detail review of the place however. If I had done a deeper dive I might have changed my mind.

Bathroom was so small I couldn't get my walker in. No facial tissue. Only 2 towels for 3 people.
Cleanliness. Easy in and out. Bed was low enough that I could sit on it. Mattress felt like I was sleeping on Jell-O.

The guy that checked us in was not very helpful. Room dirty, smelled, public hair in the tub, burn holes in the sheets, pillows, comforter. TV broke. Paper thin walls. Noisy with people’s music and banging their doors. I don’t really feel safe even walking to the ice machine here. I would recommend you keep driving and find a different town.

I loved the secluded area. But the shower was messed up, no ash tray in the room, some of the lamps didn't work, one of the face towels looked as blood stains on it, and the door had a big Crack at the bottom of the door

THE ROOM REEKED OF ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT!!!! IVE NEVER SMELLED ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE. DOOR BARELY LOCKED. BEDDING HAD BIRN HOLES CLEAN THRU. MATTRESS HAD BURN HOLES(TOOK OFF THE SHEETS TO CHECK FOR BUGS) We were low on cash and only in town for a night, and they naturally don't do refunds. We slept on a sheet fully clothed, for a few hours, and left. -100 OUT OF 10. DO NOT RECOMMEND EVEN FOR MURDERERS. PRISON IS A BETTER OPTION.

They tried to give us a nonsmoking room that was like a little kid’s birthday party room or something. No bed in that room by the way. Then, they said there were no more nonsmoking rooms, which I specifically reserved a nonsmoking room A MONTH BEFORE, so we were forced to get a smoking room. The bedspread was all burnt up in several spots from cigarettes being put out on them, and the bathroom didn’t even have a working shower. You couldn’t turn it on at all. Literally the WORST hotel I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to quite a few in my lifetime. Not the desk girl’s fault though so I’m not mad at her. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
