The bed was not comfortable and the couch was broken.

The location was nice and the property was interesting… has tons of potential! …but it’s a bit outdated and not maintained. I wish the owners would put some more attention into the property and make this place truly wonderful.

There are renovated room that are awesome, but others are more dated and need a new rug. Out feet kept turning black just by walking on it. Don’t get me wrong, everything was clean, but the material was decomposing due to age and wear.

Location is awesome, a creek runs through the property and it’s less than an hour away from water holes and expectacular nature. Spacious rooms.

Originally we were booked in the older room and it did not feel clean. The room is very dated and the tub had stains. I’m thankful we were given an upgrade to the renovated room because I don’t think I would have stayed.

The renovated rooms were very nice. They are simple but clean which is most important to me! Just wish they had a closet or even a single hook to hang my dress for my event on! I’m happy there was a fridge and microwave in the room!

We've stayed there many times. It has been fair to bad on previous stays. This time better. Cleaner and we are smarter about which rooms we want. wifi remains their biggest problem at this point. It is generally weak.

My room (404) had a lot of deferred maintenance including small holes in the walls, cracked tiles, and moldy grout at the tub. The WIFI was abysmal. I could barely download emails, and I was never able to successfully access websites — let alone stream YouTube videos. I tried various locations around the property (parking lot, picnic table, outside the office) to no avail. I did speak with the staff regarding all of the above. They offered to change my room, but indicated the WIFI likely would be no better. Since all else was cosmetic, I declined the offer. The folks are quite nice at the Northern Queen.

Beautiful, wooded location convenient to town and the railroad museum. The bed was very comfortable with 4 large and fluffy pillows, and the room had a microwave, refrigerator and single-serve coffee maker. The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful.

It's a shame the restaurant closed! It would have been nice to have curtains and shears instead of blinds for privacy and light, but other than that, my stay was great! Would stay there again.

there was a broken faucet right outside the door that flooded the pathway and the shutters were broken and Falling, some were missing altogether, making it impossible to get full privacy in the living room.

The room was clean and situated in a quiet part of the property, there was a private section for the bedroom separating it from the window to the street, the bathroom was large. The staff were very nice and they did provide some snacks in the morning ! The property is beautiful! Thank you

Not as clean as it should have been. Bottle caps left on floor by the bed. Also, there was no remote for the tv. As we were only staying for one night and leaving early the next day we didn’t bother saying anything about the remote. It would have been a little inconvenient if we had a longer stay with no entertainment
