How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sometimes the hallways and rooms have a strange smell, but the last time I had my room changed and it was much better.
The front desk staff is always very pleasant, helpful and professional. The rooms are spacious for a solo traveler, and I appreciate that they have refrigerators.

The hallways are kind of dark making it a bit creepy.
It's clean. the beds are comfortable. It has a nice pool. There are restaurants and grocery stores close by. The staff was wonderful. They also have a very nice breakfast buffet in the morning.

Not much curb appeal, don't judge this motel by that; and the hallways could use some brightening-up. But none of this would deter me from staying there again. Great place to stay for the price.
I liked that the room had wood floors instead of carpeting, it made the room seem cleaner than dirty worn-out carpeting. The room and bathroom were clean and we were glad our room led out to the pool area so we could open the sliding glass door to let in fresh air. The bed was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the location of the motel was just where we needed to be. I also appreciated that we could have our dog with us.

The heating unit was not working, chilly night.
Best hotel in Nogales under 130, nice remodel. New couch in room. Big screen tv and cable watched college bowl game. Left before breakfast, can't comment on the food.

We like everything about this property. From the friendly lady, checking us in to the comfortable bed and the clean room. The room also smelled very good. We will definitely stop in here again if we are ever in the area.

When I checked in the rate was $50 more a night then when I booked the room. Was very disappointed with the bait & switch tactic.

The hotel seems a bit run down from the outside. Lighting in halls very dark. Tired carpets in halls. LOTS of mosquitos in entrances inside hotel from parking lot (but I guess that can't be helped).
Super clean (the best I've come across in hotels!). Bed super comfortable, very quiet. Buffet was nice. Good exercise equipment (Yay!)

We had a good breakfast, fresh stocked as people served themselves. Plenty of breakfast options. Rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable. Staff saw to our needs and were very cordial and helpful.

Everything was fine
The room is large, clean and comfortable with a very nice mattress. The staff were helpful and polite. The dog friendly policies were very good and clear. The charge for a pet was reasonable. The breakfast was very good.

The overall outside look of the hotel is kind of old, but the inside of the room does not match the outside of the hotel. Like mentioned, rooms are very nice. The shower head was the only thing in the room that was old and cause the water pressure to be decreased dut to leaks.
The room was very clean and it looked like it had been recently upgraded. Most of the appliances were new and most things worked as expected. Room was very accessible. The pool was open until late and my son got to enjoy that. Parking was available and we managed to park right by the main entrance, eventhough it was a busy night. There's food options around the hotel for dinner, including a Pizza Hut. During the morning, they offer free breakfast which was delicious. Fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, beans, chilaquiles, you name it. All included. Staff was friendly and the hotel was about 5 minutes from the border. Very convinient if you are traveling to Mexico. They allow pets for an extra charge.

Spacious room. The best breakfast in any “breakfast included” hotel that I have stayed at for a very long time. Room had many little extras.
