I didn’t like that I couldn’t get a rollaway bed. I didn’t know that I had to reserve one prior to my arrival. I was told I could request one when I arrived but they were all taken.

I stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn a couple weeks ago as well. On last trip I stayed in a room with King bed. The bed was extremely, extremely comfortable. I slept so well! This time I stayed in Room 338. I have to say I was disappointed this time with the comfort of the beds. I stayed in a handicapped room with 2 queens. My Mom is 86 and needed the handicapped options. My bed had a rattle ever time you moved. My Mom and I both commented that our mattresses seemed to tilt outwards; she noted she was afraid she would fall out. The toilet seat also was loose and moved (dangerous for someone who mobility challenges). Everything else great, but I hoped they replace the mattresses in those rooms. They were not like my stay a couple weeks ago which was such a comfortable mattress! Staff and facilities just lovely though. Our waitress for dinner was amazing. Can’t beat the convenience of location.

We tried to eat breakfast, but unfortunately you were short staffed, and we were basically turned away at the door. I do think you should have been more prepared on a game day. With that said, I realize that things sometimes happen that are out of your control, I was just disappointed, not to be able to eat on site.

It is a beautiful, first class, property, that did not disappoint! Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. We hope to stay with you again!

There is no free parking. Self parking is in the nearby garage and the valet parking is expensive for such a place. They should have more staff at front-desk. Most times there was a wait. The AC was very loud.

This is a gorgeous hotel with an old world charm. It seemed to have been remodeled recently. We were here to drop our daughter and the location is so convenient. Our room was nice, quite spacious and clean. The walk-in shower is a nice change from those useless tubs most old hotels have. The gym has all new equipment and was not crowded at all. There were a lot of seating areas and lounges all over the hotel. We stayed in room # 330 and the water fountain and the ice machine were right in front of our room. Wifi was decent. TV has a bouquet of channels and the OTT apps.

The shower water pressure was terrible. After all the expense of the renovations you cannot provide normal water pressure for a shower? I hope it was not restricted for some silly "conservation" initiative. I would not stay there again when I can go somewhere else and get normal shower.
