Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The welcome could have been a little more friendly. The AC was awfully loud on top of the road noise outside and what sounded like a smoke alarm (?) setting itself off again and again at night; I slept with earplugs. The area is not very pedestrian-friendly.
The room was very big and super-clean. There were toiletries and a table with chairs, a microwave, and a fridge. We had been given a room with a southside view, which means that the sun didn't heat up the room. There is an awesome Vietnamese restaurant in walking distance on the next block.

We had to walk up three floor, TV did not work no coffee maker .No staff around to help us. This is the room Booking.Com selected for us because the place we had booked canceled same day stating they were going out of business. Very disappointed.
The bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom area would have been better if it was bigger. The bed was alright would have been better if it was more comfortable and didn’t move a lot.

Nothing nearby, Wifi didn't work, the other comments about the area are correct. Surprisingly expensive (and the hotel seemed empty, so why charge so much?)

The area was very sketchy to put it lightly. Definitely wasn’t a place you should leave your room at night. The price wasn’t great, but that’s expected of the Seattle area. My sheets, though clean, had a odd stain to them.
It was nice you could control the temperature of the room. Pillows were comfortable. Having HBO was a nice benefit.

The area is kinda sketchy and there are prostitutes everywhere.
For the most part it was a decent stay. Peaceful, quiet, nobody bothered me at all. Best part was the dispensary across the street.

It's on aurora Avenue and all the prostitutes walking up and down the street at all hours of the day was unreal

The outside of the building looks old and the neighborhood has a lot to be desired.
The price. All better hotels cost a lot more. At least this place was clean and comfortable. The inside looks relatively newly redone.

You can not fix the location. It's in a shady part of the city, but it was clean, centrally located and service was excellent when needed.
Our mom couldn't make it up stairs to our originally assigned rooms, and it was absolutely no problem. They immediately showed her to a ground floor room where she was able to park right in front for loading straight into the room. Super service!

The motel was above average. Very clean, lots of hot water and clean sheets. Nice little microwave and fridge in the room. For a reasonably priced motel we couldn't have asked for any better. I think quite well run.

I did wish I had asked for a room lower than top floor due to lugging my suitcase to the top. Shower was quite hot and I couldn't find a place it would be cooler.
Clean and quieter than expected being by a busy highway. Bed firm and comfortable.

The long standing dirt under the rim of toilet that was not being clean and already stuck. No elevator. Not near the bus stop.
I like how the bed was made. Pillows are nice(I wished there are 2 pillows per person provided). Very comfy bed. Aircon is good.
