Quick check in process. Centrally located so walking downtown was easy and safe. The water machine is huge bonus. My kids want one in our house now

The price of the room was very high, for what you get. The restaurant menu was very limited, we actually got up and left, and didn’t order anything. Was very put off with the forced valet parking.

The view from the room was nice, would have loved to have a balcony to go out on to.

The room was very expensive and when we arrived found that there was a $30 “destination fee.” There was some complicated explanation about how we’d get some of that back if we charged drinks and food to the room, which we did. But this was still an added expense. Charge what the room is worth and don’t surprise guests with added cost, particularly since this is not a resort with amenities like golf or tennis or even a pool. The person who brought our car around ($48/day charge) gave me the keys without a word and did not help us load the bags into the vehicle. I found this almost shocking … just walked back into the hotel.

Wonderful location in Newport. We had a harbor view which was delightful. The food was surprisingly good … exceeded expectations for hotel food. Servers in restaurant and bar were great. Valets were also great with one exception (see below).

Soo expensive with all the added fees. Not worth $600 for 1 night. We went to the bar at night and ordered food. We didn’t like what we had and 1 bartender was rude when we showed our displeasure.

The staff was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The pool wasn't very clean. My kids decided not to swim because of that. I also wish Starbucks in the lobby would stay open later than 12 pm

The room and property was very nice and clean. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The staff at check in could not find our 2 room booking and kept repeating since it was through a third party we would just need to pay for the one room now. After several back and forths and listening to an unwelcoming, uncaring person she was able to finally find it. She blamed it on "the hotel's outdated computer system". There was no apology offered. That is not the way to treat guests that spent over $2000,00 for a 3 night stay. Im not sure we will be returning.

The room was great with all the amenities and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel location was outstanding as we drove there from VT but were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops everyday. It was also in walking distance to the bus for the mansion and boat tours.

    Nothing !

Room was fine, location was great walking distance to cafes, restaurants , wharf ,and shops. Also, trolley picks you up for touring the mansions, restaurants, and shopping. We were here for the Audrain Car Concours and the setting and weather could not be better !

Associate said rooms were available but she couldn’t reserve it for us, told me I had to log into the Marriott site and reserve the room. I had to move to the side use my phone to reserve the room only for the site to continue to tell me rooms not available after I was told 5 rooms were open. Finally got on Booking.com and was able to reserve a room. Went back to the counter with my conformation number only to be told she couldn’t find it. Finally she looked me up by name and located my confirmation, what a frustrating experience. I understand booking on the web but when I’m in front of an agent, told rooms available but I had to use the website to reserve was frustrating, what happed to personal customer service?

We were able to get a room after our Airbnb fell through.

Not many complaints really. The mainsail restaurant did seem overwhelmed during breakfast- took a while to get our food. And the next morning we went to eat it was a long wait. It wasn't a big deal we just went elsewhere. Hotel is pricey but not that different when you compare to others around.

Location cannot be beat. Walkable to everything downtown- restaurants, bars, shopping. And with the valet parking you can come and go as often as you want with the car. So this makes it even more convenient. The room wasn't very big, but it was comfortable, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved our stay and plan to go back. Also included in the price was a $30 per day resort fee, which you can use toward food or the bar if you charge to the room. And it included free tickets to the Tennis Hall of Fame. And use of free bicycles. Oh and the spa is amazing!
