TV and AC units need written instructions. The TV remote was unusable without directions and none were available in the room. However, staff were able to come to the room to assist a few times. The first floor exterior door was noisy upon closing, and our room was nearby.

The self-service breakfast was organized and easy. Staff were helpful when needed to explain use of the coffee maker. The bedroom, bedding, and bathroom were clean. The bathroom needs more room for personal items. The neighborhood map was useful.

This location is perfect for being downtown and close to all of the action, stores, restaurants and not far to walk to the waterfront park and walking trail.

We had a very nice room on the third floor (note, no elevator), comfortable size but not much view as this is downtown between other similar buildings. Location is great for walking around town and be sure to visit the water front and take some time to relax on the swings. Great access to restaurants downtown (we visited the Grog which was very nice with more than ample half portions). Parking is tight and limited so we planned ahead and got there mid afternoon and had time to visit most of downtown. Breakfast is good, basically a cold buffet with some pre-packaged sandwiches available. It was limited but easily enough to satisfy your needs (muffins were great). Well recommended.

My single room was very small and felt a little cramped. I am always surprised at the amount of plastic used in US hotels when in Europe the trend is to use cutlery and cups and plates that can be washed and reused or possibly paper or wooden cutlery and plates. I would like to see normal dishes and cutlery at breakfast. I would also like to see muesli for breakfast.

The noise from room next-door was fairly audible in morning. Wall very thin.

Rooms were light and airy. Furniture was clean, modern and well placed, bed was comfy. Complimentary breakfast was really good, considering it was complimentary.

What needs to be addressed is the size of the parking spaces. If every car parked perfectly in each designated space, you couldn't get out of your car. The spaces are good if all of the guests were to come there on skateboards. There was construction going on within a chimney in our section. The racket was ridiculous, but it was work that needed to be done to make the fireplaces safe and functional. The work began at 9:00 a.m. and stopped late afternoon. I was sick on the second day there and stayed in our unit all day and unfortunately had to put up with the noise that was deafening at times. But even though I was sick, I had to take sides with the "Inn" and put up with the noise. The ONLY choice that they had was for the construction to take place between 9 and 3. It would have been nice to get a warning from the "Inn" about the construction. This would give potential visitors to opt out of staying in that particular area.

Typical continental breakfast. Location is perfect if you like to snoop around the many little shops in the downtown area. The room was nice and big.
