The room was small and although there was room to walk around the bed on all sides there wasn't much more room than that. We were on the ground floor so our only view was that of a parking lot and the garbage cans outside the window. The breakfast was heat-and-serve prepared foods. California requires that hotels and residences use low flow shower heads so the water pressure in the bathroom was not adequate. Having said that the bathroom was stocked with a nice selection of towels and personal hygiene products and a nice large bathtub.

Real Review: This appears to be an older Victorian house that has had multiple additions. The gentleman that greeted us when we arrived was friendly, professional and paid attention to our arrival needs to make sure that we were comfortable. He also remembered the names throughout this day which was an added bonus .Our queen room was a bit small. It's clear that our room and the adjoining room had at one point been one grand living room but had been subdivided to create 2 smaller apartments. Although the sleeping area was small the bathroom was large spacious and roomy. The queen bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillowcases appear to be high quality. There are two sitting rooms near the front of the hotel on the ground floor with nice windows and ample chairs for enjoying a glass of wine or conversation with the other guests. The breakfast room is downstairs and feels a bit like a European pub. The location is fantastic if you're going to be spending time in downtown Napa. The hotel itself is on a peaceful side street but it is two blocks away from the busy commercial and tourist district of hotels and restaurants and shopping and tasting centers. We were there for one night while our house in Napa was undergoing a renovation and the price was the lowest on booking.com and very affordable. I wouldn't call this a destination resort but if you just need a room for a night or two near downtown Napa at a good value it's perfectly adequate.

Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast on both days were hot and delicious. The staff that we interacted with, were extremely courteous, pleasant and professional. The hotel was in a safe location and walking distance from downtown Napa.

Dolly was amazing. Warm & welcoming. Our room was very clean and fresh. Large enough for us to be comfortable; we were not in Napa Valley to stay in our room all day!! And the quaint ambiance. I couldn't believe the place where breakfast was served!! Dolly knocked it out of the park.

The location was perfect for walking our dog, and accessing restaurants and shopping options. There were delicious cookies out each day, and afternoon wine tasting with snacks. The delicious breakfast was also a nice feature to start the day.Dolly is wonderful as a host, and excels at making sure guests have a great visit.

Not sure this is something I didn't like, but without any staff on sites the place felt pretty quiet or empty.

I really enjoyed staying here. Everything was clean and felt very unique compared to other hotels I’ve stayed. It was raining when we stayed and we opened the back door to the deck. It was very romantic and cute. The breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Napa.
