Mattress was too soft, like sleeping in a hammock. In room 117 the room above seems to have no sound insulation. We could hear every little creak in the floor when they moved around, and played their radio very loud at 4am on Wed morning.

Wifi reception in our room was NOT good. I was unable to connect with my iphone for more than a couple seconds maybe 5 times during the stay and had to use data. The other three with androids were able to connect for an hour here and there. It was very frustrating when trying to make travel plans and connect with people back home. We did bring this concern to staff who said they would try resetting the router. Not sure if they did or not- but wifi never improved. The last day I tried it in the breakfast room and it seemed to work there.

Very friendly staff at front desk. Hot tub and warm pool. Beautiful, calming stream. Free coffee and popcorn, Nice continental breakfast. Close to RMNP entrance! Visits from elk:) And close to downtown Estes Park.

For the price I was expecting a bit more, maybe is because is a touristic zone that makes it more expensive. The breakfast is very very basic, and not available if you leave very early.

Location wise is pretty good, near to the commercial center, which you can easily walk to (10 min). The staff is very friendly. The room size is pretty good and has a small fridge. It has a hot tube, but we didn't use it.

Proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and being in Este Park, Colorado. Made it easy to go into the park in the evening and early morning. Staff was super good, they called to confirm our reservation!

Parking is a little tight. If you are driving a larger vehicle, I would not park down in the lot. There is parking up by the street that is better suited for those cars.

This lodge is in a great spot to walk into town. I did not use the pool area but it did look well maintained. The room was a good size, and comfortable. I had a twin queen room. The breakfast was a little simpler than I thought it would be, but it did suit a day of hiking. The staff was great and extremely helpful, nice to have good conversations with the front desk. It helped us get acquainted with the area. Overall would recommend this lodge to others!

So convenient! Walking distance to downtown! River off our balcony was amazing! We had elk right off the back and front! Ask for a balcony room worth the extra price!

Nothing I did not like.

Great for wife and I as we traveled into the park and spent the night before moving on further north and west. Very well maintained property, rooms, pool and areas around the facility. The lodge location was a very short 5 minute walk to town and restaurants. Would select this one again if traveling thru the same area.

I wish we had seen some wildlife.

The cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable. The grounds were nice, but hilly. View was nice, but river is blocked by trees and bushes. We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and secluded. The hiking trail along the river was very close by.

Didn't have robes so couldn't take advantage of the hot tube and pool (too cold to walk across the car park without a robe).

Lovely staff - really friendly and offering little touches such as freshly cooked popcorn on arrival, and bottles of water with little chocolates when we checked out. Location was great and very close to the center of the town.

You should do a hot breakfast instead of a continental.

The room was nice and cozy. Loved that I could open the window and listen to the river at night. Loved the balcony and table to drink coffee and watch and listen to the river.
