Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was a 10/10 until we got to breakfast which was absolute carnage. There was one member of staff behind the bar and one in the kitchen and at one point there was 54 people in the reception/ breakfast area either having ordered food or waiting to check out. The system was terrible and no one was being served in the right order. The lady in the kitchen was walking out with plates of food and just leaving on the bar and the guy behind the bar was making drinks but in random orders. I was a party of 4 and we all got food at different times with there being an hour between the first meal arriving and the last. We were first in reception to order breakfast and any people hot drinks before us. We waited 50 minutes for two coffees as the barman was serving the people in closest view around the bar first. It was not his fault as he had too many people to serve but it was tools chaos. At one point loads of people were lifting up bagels to see if was theirs. It would all be resolved if both the chef and reception worker just did the tasks in the order that they came in and when as order goes through to the kitchen a name was attached to the number… then when the chef bring out the plates just say the name of the order and they can collect.
Lovely swimmming pool, great service on arrival as was allowed to check in early at 10am, nice modern reception area with pool table/ football table/ shuffle board/ giant games. Beds were also comfy with modern rooms. Good location in a funky part of town.

United StatesUnfortunately, our toilet kept running after we flushed, and for some reason, our shower had two shampoo dispensers and one conditioner dispenser but no body wash. Also, using the valet was a bit stressful since the street the hotel is on is not very wide, and when there’s a lot of cars waiting to park, it backs up the rest of the street.
The amenities here are great. Loved that we got free welcome drinks (vodka sodas) and that there was a cabinet on our floor where we could get more supplies like a sewing kit, makeup remover, toothpaste. The room was also clean and I especially loved the modern bathroom. The blackout curtains were also awesome. The bartender Jess was also very kind.

United StatesCheck in process was really slow so the wait time for assistance was a little longer than it needed to be. Especially when trying to go up to the rooftop pool. Also didn’t like that no one cleaned the room the entire time we were there, even AFTER, I specifically asked house keeping myself.
Love how decorative the property was. It was really cute.

ArgentinaThe rooms are way too small. There's no mini bar. Also our room didn't get cleaned everyday.
The hotel common areas are very nice, the bar is great and the staff is amazing, all are very smiley and accommodating all the time. The 24/7 flat iron breakfast is amazing!! You should try it! It's very comfortable if you need to be in Wynwood often.

MexicoThere is no space in the room to have a table and a chair to work. However, on the other hand, there are nice areas in the 2nd. floor.

United StatesNothing we didnt like.
The property was very modern and hip. Really went with the theme of the area. We had never stayed at a Moxy and would come back. Walkable locations for dinner and we had breakfast door dashed. I did not try my welcome drink but for those who drink I am sure they would love the hotel bar. We had a room that had three beds (one being a bunk bed) which was really neat! Having to use our room key for electric was different but I liked it.

United StatesPool closed early at 5pm. And not too much space in the rooms to store luggage/clothes. But not a deal breaker.
The hotel was clean and cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a beautiful lobby/bar area to hang out, eat, drink, as well as clean restrooms. And access to rooftop pool. The rooms were small but well equipped. Very pet friendly hotel and neighborhood.

TurkeyI have been trying to get an invoice for my stay at this hotel for over a month now. It feels like Booking.com and the hotel have absolutely no coordination. The hotel refuses to issue an invoice because the payment went through Booking.com, while Booking.com refuses to issue it because the services were provided by the hotel. They don’t communicate with each other at all. Every time I contact Booking.com, they send me back to the hotel, and the hotel sends me back to Booking.com. This has been going on for a month, and no one takes responsibility. I was traveling for business and couldn’t provide proof of stay to my employer. So if you are traveling for work, be warned — you will most likely never receive an invoice. No one will pay attention to your request, and I highly recommend avoiding booking this hotel through Booking.com.

United StatesWhile I loved the location and style of the Moxy, there were a few things that made my stay less enjoyable. It was really difficult to get in touch with customer service. calls to the front desk often went unanswered, which was frustrating. There was no in-room pamphlet or guide to explain basic things, like how to access amenities. For example, to get to the rooftop pool, I had to call someone to let me up to the 8th floor—but if no one answers, that means I’d have to go all the way back down to the lobby just to get access. That process felt really inconvenient. The next morning, the elevators weren’t working, which was another issue when I was just trying to grab a quick coffee. They did offer a complimentary drink, but the one I received (a vodka and club soda) didn’t sit well with me. Overall, the hotel has potential, but these small service issues added up.
The location is perfect, right in the heart of Wynwood, which made it super easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and art spots. The hotel itself has a chic, stylish vibe with really cool decor throughout, especially in the lobby area. It felt modern and fun without trying too hard. The rooms were cute, well-designed, and just the right size for a comfortable stay. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for something trendy and walkable in Miami.
