Umm...I suppose the mattress could have been softer? I slept great. Another pod of coffee would have been swell. These aren't even really complaints, honestly. I liked everything.

The room was perfectly clean and I don't know what reviews on Google were saying about bugs around the pool because of the trees but I had absolutely zero problems with that. The room was beautifully decorated and laid out, the 2 story room experience was wonderful. The people at the front desk were very kind and helpful. I was there on a Tuesday so maybe that's why but it was very quiet and I barely saw anybody else even though I know there were other rooms occupied. Which I loved. The entire experience was perfectly divine!

The breakfast could be improved. I also noticed during each of my recent stays that pool cleaning takes place around 10am, making the pool unavailable at that time. Some of the furniture was worn and had visible stains.

The location was great and the room was spacious with a bonus balcony.

Not a tragedy but it would have been fab to avail of the wine and cheese hour but it only lasts 30 minutes (4-4:30 ahead of the front desk closing). A later and/or wider window of opportunity would have been sweet. Alternatively, maybe they could offer it at the sister hotel so all could enjoy? Just a thought.

The location is excellent. In walking distance to excellent restaurants, bars, shopping, and a local park. The staff are very friendly (at the hotel and their sister hotel across the road where you check-in after 5pm). Totally enjoyed the pool and spa. Very quiet space and, as other reviews have noted, feels like living in a private house or compound. Check-in was very easy. Great free parking. Excellent neighborhood. Good vibe all around.

The lobby closing at 5:00 was a bit strange and not opening until 9:00 was difficult. The air conditioner/heater didn't work very well in my room so just unplugged it. A bit noisy in my room from all the traffic. The other rooms that were farther away probably didn't have as much noise.

The breakfast was very nice. I wish it could have been available earlier as I had a plane to catch and a 9:00 breakfast was way too late. The wine and cheese was a nice touch and the outside firepit was a nice place to gather when the lobby closed.

Breakfast was only served at 9am so was too late for us still waking up on UK time, and wanting to go to Joshua Tree National Park early. Breakfast options very limited, particularly for our vegan friends. However, there was a coffee shop across the street which we used which was open earlier. Palm Springs in general doesn't get going until 9 or 10am (nothing opens early) so I assume this start time reflects this.

Super comfortable room and bed. Seating areas in courtyard with bar area and fire pit was lovely for drinks with our friends before going out in the evening, and for eating breakfast. Pool area and hot tub. Mid century feel. Location: short walk to restaurants and cafes. 4pm wine and cheese was a welcome bonus. Free parking. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to this hotel.
