The floor was dirty so we went and purchase our own wet swifter to mop the floor. The stove hadn't been cleaned and the storage compartment underneath was dirty with questionable things in it. The bathroom only had one little towel bar that could only hold two bath towels, the hand towel and the washcloth were in the kitchen area. There was no place to put toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom sink was way to low to the floor. The mattress cover had stains. The doors deadbolt was not well aligned to the doors wall frame, we had to jiggle the door a bit to make it sink in. The thing that really disappointed us the most was that I had spoken to someone in advance about bringing our pets along. I was told that the pet fee would be waived but when we arrived we were charged cash and given a handwritten receipt. Really disappointing.

There was a park in front of the motel with bbq grills and playground equipment. It has a fairly nice view of the lake. The refrigerator was a nice size, there were two in the room one was not working properly. Being able to park the car in front of our room was a bonus. The area did feel save even at night. Being able to go outside at night and sit in the park to look at the stars was very cool. Having picnic tables in front of the room was a nice touch, made it easy to eat in front of our room and have a nice few of the park.

The noise from the next room was very loud so I couldn't sleep and when I finally did a man from outside started yelling for quite some time. I barely slept the whole night. They used some kind of deodorizing detergent on the bedding that smelled horrible. They really need to change whatever they are using. The pet fee was pretty large for my dog, which made the room expensive for what they offered.

The location was nice. It was across the street from a park and off the main road. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was convenient.

The staff only does what is minimum. The room floors are filthy and the room has a huge odor of cleaner but nothing is clean.

I was staying here because my house burned down and while I was figuring out my next move I needed a place for my 2 kitties to rest their heads so me and my husband could go take care of things. I had an appointment that day at 3, but check-in was at 3 and I already had my cats in the hot car with us since we checked out of the last one. I asked if I could pay to check in early and told her the situation, she had no compassion at all didn't care didn't even mention my situation to the housekeeper just said you can come back an check at 2. While I watched her and the housekeeper do nothing the whole time i waited I came back at 2 and still not done. At 3, still not done and didn't care. I had a reservation. So I told her that, and still didn't check-in till 3:45. Not to mention that night, I guess she lives there as well, she was having a loud drunken fit outside that kept me up. And she said I lied to her and said I had dogs. She just asked if I had any pets. I said yeah and paid extra for it. I definitely thought she saw me walking my cat right in front of her doing nothing for 3 hours. Was the most rude entitled person(I can't even call her a woman, and barely even a person) I have ever had the pleasure of coming across in my life.

The trash cans were dirty under the plastic bags. The bed sheet wasn’t comfortable. We brought our own sleeping bags so it’s okay for us.

We really like the kitchenette. Very convenient that we could cook simple meals in our room. We brought our own cookwares.
