The cleanliness of the rooms

The 1st room i checked into, the sheets were dirty and had paw prints on them. The room also smelled like urine. The 2nd room, it smelled like heavy smoke activity.

It’s an old building in a weird, loud location. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The place needs to be remodeled or torn down.

The staff were exceptional.

Chico has really gone downhill. Lots of shady people wandering around or parking in the motel lot. Watched a drug deal go on while sitting in the Dennys next to the motel!

Was my hometown while growing up! 1962 until 1980 and then back again from 1989 until 2000. Loved Chico!

The floor looked a bit dirty, the towels were very small and looked old and one looked so grey like it was also used for cleaning The shower is so small. The people smoking outside, one person was in her suv with loud music while smoking.

The room was quiet. And staff’s friendliness.

Although the rooms were clean, there was a strong odor of weed. Despite me bringing my own air freshener from home, the smell lingered. I was in a non-smoking room too so it was very annoying.

I liked the location of the property, the staff, and the rooms. The rooms were nice and clean, which was a plus. The manager was also very friendly and helpful. The price is good for what you get.

The smell of nicotine was heavy in the room. It kind of sticks to you. That's not the establishment's fault so much as it is the people who stay there and choose to smoke inside.

Helpful staff, very easy check in, lots of rooms and parking next to places to eat and to the freeway entrance. You can tell they work to keep things clean.

We stayed in room 121 and the toilet is NOT attached to the floor. If you lean, it starts to tip!

It was clean and comfortable and not too much noise. Location was great and there's a Denny's next to it. It had a refrigerator/freezer.

No shampoo or conditioner. No coffee maker though there is a post in the front office. HVAC was difficult to understand and use. Had to kill a cockroach.

Basically cleaner than I was expecting, Room had a microwave and a refrigerator with a freezer! Nit just basic television programming.

Room was slightly dirty, found some bugs (dead and alive), something about the shower water or soap made me feel dirtier after taking a shower, so next time i will bring my own soap :)

Location was good, a little hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going. Receptionist was very nice, bed was clean and comfortable. Good for a one-night stay, probably wouldnt stay any longer

First night the bathroom flooded and it was mid morning before they sent someone to fix it. They it happened later that day and we had to change rooms. Also every time I came back to the room, the key would not work and I had to go get a new one. An unpleasant stay but it will not stop us from staying at motel 6’s.

The loud people talking and walking by

The young man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly 😁 I had a very positive experience with him throughout my stay the room was a bit on the dirty side but over good the first night was quite second night we had loud people next to us that partied all night which kept us up overall it was an ok stay

There was a dirty crusty sock that came out of I between bed and box spring. There was also some wrappers on side of bed by the wall.

The shower head was broken and hanging, when we arrived we did not have a room reserved, despite me having reserved online three days prior and calling the day before we arrived to confirm. Thankfully a room became available after housekeeping was done.

The hotel was quiet and we were able to get sleep.

Walls were thin. I could hear the people next door.

location. Not too many homeless people around. Had a car full of stuff and felt safe leaving my stuff in the car overnight.

Two beds in this room left little floor space and one bed had to be right next to the air conditioner. This blocked the flow of air a bit and made it a bit chilly for someone using that bed.

Our stay was last minute and the staff was helpful and welcoming. Our room very very clean. The air conditioner worked well, it wasn't loud, and gave just enough white noise to cover any noise, although the only noise was a couple of workers chatting in the parking lot.. I don't think that's an every day problem. The bed was comfortably firm, as I like it. This is an economy room and the basics were well provided. We've had to find last minute economy rooms 6 times. This was probably the smallest, but also the cleanest and a simple breakfast was provided.
