All rooms have easy access to the stairs leading down to an amazing beach. Just north of Newport and south of Depoe, food and activity options were a short drive away. Peggy was wonderful to share local information and provide wonderful tips about the area. Our room was clean with adequate supplies. The bed was comfortable.

The shower water pressure was very weak. We didn’t mention this to the staff so it’s possible that it could have been easily fixed.

The proximity to the beach is amazing! I love that we didn’t have to drive or even walk very far to get to the beach. We also, liked that the beach was not crowded. A few time we were the only people on the beach. The view from our room was awesome. It was wonderful hearing the waves at night as we fell asleep. Peggy (I think she is the manager) was very responsive, helpful, and friendly when I had questions.

Prices are very high in summer! We hope to return for a longer stay off season. But, whatever the cost this is a very special experience.

Lovely, one of a kind property with direct views from large balcony to the ocean! Could hear the waves rolling in and the beach below was great for walking. Peggy, the manager, was a pleasure to interact with.

The Camelot room is bit small and tight to navigate, but it's cozy. No woodstove fires allowed in this unit. However each unit is very unique.

The location of this property is outstanding! It hangs right above the beach, and the beach is sparsely attended! Incredible sunsets and moonsets right from your balcony! The host even pulled together an impromptu cookout for the Fourth of July, and it was lovely to meet the guests from all over the country. There are many repeat guests, and you could sense a family-like spirit. Peggy, the host, goes above and beyond to keep in touch and be available, making you feel welcomed and well cared for. We saw whales and bald eagles: even a fledgling attempting to fly from the nest! Very romantic.

Fireplaces didn't work . Could have had more of a divider on the balconies for privacy.

Everything! We loved it so much we extended our stay which allowed us to stay in two different rooms. Our first room, The Marlyn Monroe room, had a side deck with an open view to the beach and ocean. It had a small sitting area with a comfy couch and small beverage station with plenty of coffee and a fridge as well as dining plates, cups, and utensils. Bed was comfy with a very cozy blanket. All rooms have easy access to the stairs leading down to an amazing beach. Our 2nd room was the Hunters room, which is really a small apartment as it had a king bedroom, a full kitchen with a high top dining table, a living room, and a large deck overlooking the beach. This room had full-on view of the beach and ocean from every room. While Maryln was great, if you are looking for an extended stay, book the king rooms. On top of all this, Peggy and the staff are wonderful hosts. Just north of Newport and south of Depoe, food and activity options were a short drive away. We took out several nights to eat on the balcony to watch the ocean and sunset. Finally, the beach is amazing. I think it is the last quiet beach in America! Highly recommend this place!

Property has made many improvements over the many years it has been giving travelers a beautiful view of the Newport coast. Stunning views. In addition to the ocean views, we had the pleasure of seeing 4 bald eagles across Hwy 101 from the hotel. Peggy is a gracious host and even provided a 4th of July BBQ for the guests. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Check-in was quick and no hassle.

Wish there were (2) toilets in our suite, but of course, not a deal-breaker by any means ….. I wake way before my wife, and need to access bathroom by walking through the bedroom …

Proximity to beach, sound of the waves surrounding our suite, good eats so close by.
