The room we stayed on had a spectacular view. The only things that could be better are 2. The room upstairs could use a fan and a better way to charge phones. No plugs convenient to the night stands. Might I suggest lamps that charge! These are small things that are just for convenience and comfort however we loved it and we will definitely return!

No fresh coffee until 8 AM. I’m up at 6 and took a short ride to a local deli and was back drinking my coffee in 10 minutes.

Clean, everything in my room worked perfectly. We had a duplex… it was great. The lobby is grand. The property is well manicured with flowers and you get the feeling of old world charm…We will stay at the Montauk Manor again.

Hallways are a bit dim / grungy still. Still using outdated cable TV / DVD players for in-room entertainment, no streaming connection or even a way to cast from laptop to in-room TV.

Best view in Montauk, stunning grounds and an amazing on-site restaurant. This was the first time I had a first floor room with a patio and I loved it - it’s my new favorite room.

It is a bit away from town.

Beautiful and historic. Grounds were amazing. Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff. The van service to anyplace in Montauk was a plus. Check out was at 11 but our train didn’t leave until much later and we were allowed to use pool and get the van to the train.

Love the antique look instead of the boring modern aesthetic that is taking over everything. Property was big and had plenty of nice amenities. Grass tennis courts were a huge plus! I actually enjoyed that the parking lot was off to the side and not a giant lot in front of the property.

A few nitpicking things like the food in the hotel restaurant was very pricey for what we got and our fried calamari was overcooked. And the furniture in the lobby looks like it could use a good cleaning. But overall nothing else that would be a deal breaker. We loved it here and would come back in a heartbeat!

The pool hours are from 10am-7pm not very accommodating for a family. It opens too late and closes too early for summer hours. In order to use the tennis courts you must be given a key to unlock and lock when finishing. In order to use the gym, you again must visit the front desk to get permission The ambiance and cost to stay at the Manor juxtaposed to locked tennis courts, gym and restrictive pool hours should be reconsidered by management. It gives the impression MM is situated in a high crime area rather than a beautiful resort. It is something to consider in the future.

Beautiful grounds. The sunsets are gorgeous to view from their manicured lawns. The staff is accommodating and the shuttle service to the town or beach is a wonderful amenity due to the limited parking in town
