Reviews of Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast

The room was charming, comfortable, beautiful, and quiet. Even the AC was quiet! The garden in back where breakfast was served was lovely and peaceful. And the breakfast! My food needs were taken into account and every breakfast was thoughtfully and deliciously prepared and served. The bathroom was very attractive, the shower easy to use, and everything I needed was there. I feel enormously lucky that I found Mon Ami!

All was nice. It was a great pleasure to share the breakfast with Pat. Her breakfast was excellent and different every morning! Go to this marvellous house. We're at home!

Excellent breakfast, very roomy for a B&B, Pat was a wonderful host, private entrance. Wish we could have stayed longer and tried out the pool and/ or hot tub.

This is truly a gem in the desert. Pat is a wonderful host and it goes without saying for someone who ran a French restaurant for years, a superb cook--the breakfasts are exceptional. We appreciated our room and the separate entrance--everything was spotless. The backyard veranda is spacious and secluded. The house lies east of Tucson proper, but all the major sites are within 20-45 minutes drive--we drove to the Mission, to the Mirror lab at the UofA, to Sabino Canyon, to the Arizona-Sonora Desert.

The breakfasts were delicious, and we were asked if we had any allergies or concerns; yes I do, and my husband has diabetes. We shared breakfasts with a interesting, delightful couple. Our room unit was very clean, comfortable, and had a seperate entry. The patio outside was lovely. We could park close and in shade. The house was beautiful, and this photo doesn't do it justice. Pat, the owner, was gracious and a perfect host, and became our friend.

The breakfast was superb - different every day except for the colorful and delicious bowl of fruit.

Pat’s food was outstanding! I did not mention, until a few hours before we arrived, that I only ate vegan food. Pat produced vegan fair, and it was absolutely delicious! Also, my husband, whom is not vegan, found his food tasty, each day better than rhe last. Thank you Pat! 😋

Pat is a greatd host! She made gourmet style breakfast every morning. The room was very clean. The bed comfortable. It was nice to have a separate sitting area. The fireplace was a bonus since night time temperatures were close to freezing when we visited. Location was very quiet, but still close to many restaurants and businesses.

Very quaint, calm, pretty garden area, amazing breakfast. Host was so sweet, warm and pleasant.

An unexpected treat, with home cooked French treats for breakfast - it was beyond our expectations!

The room was very comfortable, as were the beds. It was a peaceful haven hidden amongst the busy city with easy access to Tucson Mall, downtown Tucson, Mount Lemmon and Saguaro National Park to name but a few. Our host was very congenial and helpful. She is an excellent chef and breakfasts were served in the garden/courtyard of the property. The variety was endless and the quantity was more than adequate. Quality was never sacrificed. There is a lap pool should you wish to access it, we didn't, but certainly enjoyed the quiet outside garden space.

Actually there was nothing we did not like and would highly recommend to others.

The owner, Pat, is a wonderful hostess, accommodating to our every request. Excellent location, delicious breakfasts, lots of room to spread out and relax on the property. Delightful garden area, full of local birds, butterflies, and beautiful array of plants.

We liked the host, we liked the room, we liked the location, the outside seating area was lovely and we loved the food our host provided for breakfast.

We liked almost everything about this bed and breakfast. The only thing I would ask to change is to provide toilet paper that is a bit thicker. Thin toilet paper is a pet peeve of mine.

Pat! Breakfast! The pool! The garden! The comfortable atmosphere!

Mon Ami is a really unique place to stay - you get all the amenities of a hotel, but additionally, an AMAZING breakfast and very kind host with lots of experience in Tucson. This is my second time staying and I would go back any time!
