Tea tasted weird when using the tea-making machine in the room. Bed mattress wasn’t that comfortable. One guy who works at front desk who never smiles.

The breakfast buffet was great and staff was very friendly. As vegans, it was nice to see food clearly labelled as vegan. Coffee, tea and hot water is easily accessible near the lounge dining area. Room was very spacious and quiet. Loved staying in Japantown where it was more quiet and chilled vibe. You’re also inbetween Golden Gate area and Union Square. Bottled water is available on demand from front desk.

Rooms (and bathrooms especially) are a little small. Some of the front desk staff were SO nice and helpful (Domingo), but others were very standoffish and almost rude (not welcoming).

Fun, whimsical hotel in Japantown. Liked the vibe of the lobby and bar. Great buffet breakfast, and loved the coffee/tea available at all times.

On site parking was “no in and out privileges”. It didn’t make sense. The other option is a garage accessible from the hotel, but might not be open 24 hrs

Great size rooms with fridge in room, 24hr gym and 24hr complimentary tea, coffee and water. The bar closes a bit early and the breakfast isn't really great value but lots of options available on door dash and great restaurant options across the street

First room we received was a suite. Terrible view of the roof top A/C unit as well the adjacent tower not 50 yds away. Complained to front desk and they moved us to a king room with an improved view of Post st., however a smaller room . Pin them down on your "out the door cost" for your room Too expensive!! Booking.com states the rate to be $310/night. My Cap statement shows $717.71/night. Be very certain of their various add on fees and taxes before you book. I hate surprises and this was a big one!

The room was dusty and the temperature of the room is based on the outside temperature of San Francisco. Therefore, if it is cool outside, the inside only blows hot air in your room. I was told to just turn off the temp control in the room and just open the windows if I was too warm.

The location is ideal with access to good restaurants and shopping.

The koi pond looks shallow. I felt sorry for the fish. The otherwise it was great!

Elevators were wicked fast and the staff were really kind and helpful. Our room was comfy but small. There’s never enough hooks to hang things on in hotel bathrooms. Kabuki was the same unfortunately. Decorated so nicely.

there was no way you could turn the light on in the bathroom without it glaring into the bedroom as there was no separating door into the bathroom area.

The lobby and bar area were really comfortable and nice to use. It is situated in the vibrant area of Japantown with plenty of restaurants and very good connections.
