How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The mattress could have been a little softer but it was tolerable. The train goes by across from the property quite frequently. I know they can't help it. But something to figure in when wanting to rest.
The staff could not be any nicer. Everything was clean. Simple check in and out. Quiet environment was the best part. Most likely will stay here again.

My room was a bit beat up, but the bed was comfortable.

Dated room. No USB ports. Electrical outlets unusable - would not hold plug-in prongs. No bath mat or anti-slip coating in shower-very slippery. “Breakfast” offerings limited to mainly toast and cold cereal. Pancake machine out-of-order.
Great staff. Very helpful. Positive attitudes and energy.

There was a $25 charge per cat after telling me they didn't take cats. I also had to leave a cash deposit of $100. After checking the room the next day, I was given back my cash. If they're listed as pet friendly, they should be.
The pancake machine was a pleasant change from the waffle iron. The staff was very nice in spite of our shaky check-in.

Didn't get any extra coffee or towels as I had requested on the booking. Otherwise to notch!
Wonderful tub and staff. Quick immediate check in, with nice quiet area and even had places for smokers to put their butts outside! Great location too with fast food very close!

Room carpet needed to be cleaned, took shower and put white socks on afterwards, in morning socks were soiled, from walking within room. Jacuzzi had a little water in it, was pretty bad looking, should have been cleaned or covered up. Pool was nice.
Friendly staff, great location, slept in on breakfast each day. From Ca, going to OKLA messed us up a bit.

The elevator broke during the early evening and had numerous people going up and down the stairwells from the 2nd and 3rd floors. The broken elevator causes congestion going up and down.
The staff was very polite and informative.The hotel is a very good budget hotel. I rented the room due a tornado that had hit Claremore and the hotel and staff took the overwhelming demand for rooms with stride.

A second driveway around the bank would be good so when heading south you can enter without having to go past and turn around.

The screen, on the window of the 3rd floor room, had a hole in it big enough for my 9 yr old to fall thru. The pool is small and not all the way full. The hot tub wasn't working. I cleaned my room more so than I have any other hotel and they still charged me $82 when I left to clean room. What are the hotel maids for if not to clean the rooms 🤷🏼♀️

The room smelled like wet dog and the ac was not working well at all.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I guess thats really all that mattered.

The rooms were so small you could. Not have a recliner ot large chair. The breakfast was free because they were so small that we ate out most mornings. Our lay delegate has to have oxygen. All the hotels we have stayed at before would accept oxygen and have it waiting behind the desk. Microtel refused the order from Apria which meant we had to go to Tulsa to get oxygen. If we hadn't we would have had to call 911. The staff did not try to find solutions to our problems. We will never stay at a Microtel again and we will encourage our friends to do likewise.
The cleaning staff was great!

Room was dirty. There were bugs in the room both dead and alive! The grab bar in the shower was broken. Tub was slippery.
Breakfast was ok. Location was good.
