We're not huge breakfast people so if you are you might be a bit disappointed at the selection. The only failure I saw was the breakfast potatoes which might have been microwaved as they had no colour

We decided last minute to do a cross border shop for back to school shopping. The Microtel was the cheapest option that matched are criteria but it certainly didn't feel like the cheapest. The hotel was very clean, rooms were nice & clean. The hotel is minutes away from Walmart & the Outlet mall which is a major reason we chose to stay here. Would come back any time we want to stay for a day or 2 for sure

The staff was absolutely fantastic. We especially loved the gentleman who worked at the front desk, who acted as “quiz master” to my kids about local knowledge and folklore. He was wonderful and engaged with all of the guests during breakfast. Great atmosphere.

I feel that the breakfast choices should be better. Not enough options.

Very convenient to everything. The staff was good but Robert at the desk was exceptional. He was a book of knowledge about Canada and history of the areas.

There wasn't anything that didn't meet or exceed our expectations. The only thing that would make it better ,IMHO, would be self service waffles for breakfast.

From the pre-check in to the check out everything went well. The staff at the front desk was very professional and friendly. Especially was the person on the front desk on the morning after our first night. He went out of his way to show us in detail some of the best places to 'visit' in the area by pointing things out in one of the brochures in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Tub had a crack in middle. My adult kids straddled the crack and wasn't able to stand proper in shower..I showered in my parents room because I was afraid of falling in shower due to crack and floor feeling like give way..never did get towels we requested..

Breakfast was good..I think a little biit larger cups would have been nice. Staff was so nice..having the free trolley take and return us to hotel was great

The room was clean and comfortable. The staffs are very welcoming. Location wise it is 15min away from Niagara. Sam's club (Gas) and Walmart are close to the hotel.

Unlike usual hotels and inns, this property has a strict time to utilize their laundry room. It’s not a 24 hour room that you can walk in whenever to do laundry. When we found out that laundry room wasn’t open 24 hours, we at least asked the front desk if we can change coins so we can do laundry the next day - they had no coins to change and told us that the manager will bring in the quarters. The following day, we went back to the front desk and the manager was already there - still no coins to change. Told us to drive to a laundromat 1 mile away from the inn. This was very inconvenient since there was already a laundry room inside but they just didn’t have coins to change for it. Next, we had troubles with room service. When you take out the DND sign from the door - shouldn’t it be automatic for room service to clean and tidy up the room? We took out the DND sign and nothing changed within the room. The trash wasn’t picked up and towels weren’t changed. We talked to the manager and he had to do everything himself.

Close by drive to the outlet, food places, Target and Walmart. Bed was comfortable. 6 mile drive to Niagara Falls which is not so bad. The property was pretty safe because you would need your room key card to access the side doors. Otherwise, you must enter through the front doors.

Some linens didn’t seemed cleaned; a few stains were found which can give that reaction of “eww” even tho they were probably clean.
