Linda our host was wonderful. She has a real knack for making you feel welcomed and comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful and nicely presented. Location was great. we were able to walk the historic downtown easily. Linda's restaurant suggestions were also great. We highly recommend a trip to New Bern and a stay at Meadows Inn.

Everything about the Meadows Inn was excellent from check in until the time we left. The breakfast was amazing as well as the afternoon treats. There’s all types of beverages available and a screened in porch to enjoy them on. The bed was very comfortable and let us rest after a long day of walking. The location is within walking distance to downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. We’ll definitely be returning!

Linda could not have been more friendly or attentive and her staff was great, too. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with an excellent bed and linens. Breakfast was scrumptious every morning and Linda went to great lengths to meet my dietary needs as well as those of other guests. We also loved the location of Meadows Inn. It is in the historical area, a hop and a skip from the river front and within walking distance from everything we wanted to do and see. If you are lucky enough to stay at the Meadows Inn, you can expect to be treated to Linda's freshly baked goodies during the day as well as having access to tea, coffee, and more any time of the day. We booked our next stay before we left 😀

There wasn't anything that we didn't like!

Everything about the Meadows Inn is perfection. From the moment you step onto the quintessential, southern back porch, perfect for lounging and reading, you feel at home. When you walk through the door and are met by Linda, you know you're home. She treats her guests like family. The breakfasts are delicious, not to mention the scrumptious, daily, fresh baked treats that are available in the dining room throughout the day. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with comfy beds that just beckon sweet dreams at the end of the day. The location rounds out the complete package - close to the river for morning sunrise walks or fishing from the pier and near to historic homes, buildings, churches, and shops. We won't stay anywhere else when in New Bern!

The Innkeeper, Linda, was there to greet me and was warm and helpful. The three breakfasts during my stay were wonderful- pancakes, an omelette, and French toast, all with a lovely starter, fresh brewed coffee, choice of juice and garnished with fresh fruit. There were always home baked cookies or brownies available. The room was comfortable, lovely and clean. I slept well and had a wonderful stay!

I can’t think of a thing we didn’t like.

Ideal location, everything within walking distance. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable and quiet. Nice patio in the back to sit. Parking was great. Food was great. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful and very nice to us during our stay.

Room was lovely, very clean, and super comfortable. Great bed, great bathroom/shower, fabulous breakfasts. Would consider myself fortunate to plan another trip to New Bern and book this room again. Perfectly good for a person with some mobility issues (note—I think a few stairs are at both entrances), although I’d prefer a slightly higher toilet. But that’s a pretty small issue in the face of a lovely, wonderful stay with great coffee and lovely, delicious breakfasts, not to mention warm and helpful hosts.

This BnB experience was so lovely. The innkeeper Linda was so so sweet and accommodating. The room was very cozy, and the breakfasts were delicious! Consider yourself lucky if you get to try the blueberry cobbler!

I've been in the hospitality industry for 40 plus years, and I'm very detailed oriented and picky. The Inn was very welcoming an our accommodations were very nice. There was always an assortment of beverages and sweets. Each morning, we were served a hot breakfast, which was amazing. Everything was perfect!!

The breakfast was fantastic! Tasty, plentiful and fresh! Linens were comfortable and plentiful. Very quiet during the evening/night ... no street noise. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Guests have access to a common refrigerator and microwave. Plenty of common areas to relax during the day/evening.

Our stay at Meadow's Inn B&B was very comfortable and convenient. It was in a great location, convenient to the small downtown with many restaurants and shops. Linda the owner was very friendly, helpful, and made delicious breakfasts. Our bathroom was recently updated and our bedroom was very comfortable and nicely decorated.

The fact that we had to leave after only four nights.

I am hard-pressed to think of anything that I would improve. Of all the Airbnb‘s and B&Bs that we have stayed in over the years, my wife, and I agree that this has been our very favorite. Linda and her staff were wonderful, the food was excellent, the afternoon warm brownies and cookies were scrumptious. I don’t know where they got their sheets, but they were the most comfortable sheets I’ve ever slept in. The location was ideal, walk to the river, walk to shopping and restaurants, walk to the Tryon Palace, walk everywhere!

Perfect place to ring in the New Year. Our hosts were extremely pleasant and accommodating both times we've stayed at Meadows Inn. The breakfast is always awesome. Everything is within easy walking distance and the NYE festivities are literally right down the street. We love New Bern!! ❤️
