The TV in room 16 didn't work. I couldn't get it to turn on. There were no instructions how to use it and I'm not an idiot, so I don't believe the TV was working and/or there was an issue with the TV controllers.

I LOVED THE PROPERTY AND EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. This is one of my favorite properties I have ever visited. The decorating is so beautiful. Everything but the tv was wonderful. :-)

The coffee in the inn common room was bitter, even though whole bean. The breakfast next door at the Inn bakery was Scottish pastry, which frankly looked a bit heavy, and wasn't our taste. There is an excellent coffee shop around the corner at the end of Main Street . There are several good restaurants in town.

Beautiful historic rooms restored so they were functional with modern electricity, plumbing, and luxurious bed, comforters, and furniture. You wouldn't know the building was from the 1800s, except for the beautiful wood floors and high ceilings throughout. On site parking was great.

The staff is wonderful, highly responsive and attentive to needs. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Recently opened a bakery, which was also outstanding!

Hmmm. That we had to leave

This beautiful Victorian inn was absolutely beautiful. Location wise , it was exactly what we wanted. To be able to walk to the downtown, site see and go out to dinner. On a busy street, but , you did not hear a thing. The room was big, comfortable, as was the bathroom. Bed was sooooooooooooo comfortable, sheets, pillows, all. Loved the breakfast niche, we grabbed a piece of fruit and had wonderful coffee from a fabulous coffee maker.

What's not to like. The grounds and room were beautiful. The rooms were so quiet. Loved that there was a pantry for snacks and breakfast.

Amenities were minimal and coffee machine died just before I got my morning coffee.

The bed was too soft. The sink is located in the closet, which feels incredibly cramped and there is no window. Everything in the pantry except for the fruit has high sugar content, so if one is on a restricted sugar diet, there is nothing to eat.

The Inn is perfectly located within walking distance of the town, and the staff is wonderful. The room in which we stayed was large and filled with light. The toilet and tub shower are small but adequate. There is an always open pantry with a coffee machine, ready to prepare cereals and fridge stocked with yogurt.

Loved our stay.

The house had lots of character. We loved the old architecture and new feel. For an old house it was all on top shape and did not have a musty smell. Loved the window down into the old well also the extras, 24 he pantry with deluxe coffee machine. Bikes, picnic baskets and gym card for checkbout was a nice surprise.

no cooked breakfast - but the inn is not set up for that, so...

The rooms are spacious here, the bed was very comfy. Ample temperature controls for the room, and the bathroom was so nice = HUGE! Toiletries are very high quality, and I like that there are large bottles which are refilled, keeping away from plastic waste. The location could not be better - right in the heart of Jacksonville. Highly recommended!

The McCully House was a delight. Room was lovely with many little luxury features. Very comfortable. Many nice amenities available. Would love to come here again.
