The espresso machine wasn't working properly. There was no fruit or biscuit and gravy. Like most places the food is quite cafeteria and pushes us to go support the local restaurants that make good food.

Good location. Very nice room. The pool and hot tub were working.

Way too much chlorine in pool and jacuzzi, the smell was so strong and both my kids skin and eyes got burned. Room was basic, needed some upgrades. Our room was by the main door of our end of hotel and it slammed closed and was very loud.

Hotel is conveniently located and has very nice pool area and facilties. But the pool and jacuzzi had way too much chlorine in it that both my kids faces and eyes got burned. Free breakfast was great and they kept it pretty stocked. Room was ok, thought it could be nicer but probably was basic because we were in pet friendly room. Staff was very friendly!

Loved the amenities - pool, hot tub and sauna open 24 hours. The breakfast was good. Loved that it was Pet friendly.

The breakfast was great & the breakfast staff was wonderful. We asked the front counter gentleman for a map of the stores in town & he didn't have any or even know what we were talking about. We went to the pizza place down the street & they had a stack go them. We also asked it they had Uber eats or DoorDash in town & he said definitely not !!! Which I found out the next day, they do have !!! We were tired & he ( tall guy with the beard ) was not helpful at all, unfortunately. The beds were wonderful & we slept very well. Loved the location, right down the street from the Lake.

I wished they had a shower hook to go across the bath tub to hang dry our swimsuits. Or that they would have 4 hooks to hang our stuff on the wall in the bathroom areas so our swimsuits could dry better. I also felt like the big armoire was causing the room to feel smaller; it took up valuable space. I would have preferred a simple bench to prop our suitcase up on and to be able to sit next to it instead. I also would have liked a second mirror at a desk with good lighting to do my makeup at. It would have been so helpful to have that second area since there was 4 of us trying to use the mirror and we were squished together or having to take turns which makes getting out and about slower than desired.

Cute little town to stay in. The lake and trees are gorgeous! Best western looked exactly like the website showed. Cute, clean, comfy beds. The pool was warm and the pool room was too! Perfect for swimming in the evening after traveling. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Eggs, hashbrowns, fruit, oatmeal, yogurts, hot chocolate, juices, make your own waffles, pastries in fridge, bagels, to-go boxes. It was done very well. I also really liked that the bathroom had the tub/shower and toilet in one room, and the sink and mirror right outside. This was especially helpful for 4 people needing to use it to shower after swimming.

We wish the tv in the room had the option to log into our streaming services. It's just basic satellite cable. The A/C in our room was kind of loud. But it didn't bother us too bad, you could just tell it's old. Also, I read there was an omelet station for breakfast, but there was never one during our stay. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? It's not a big deal, to be honest. Just don't be disappointed if they don't have it while you're staying here.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the spa tub in the room was amazing! We loved having our own private hot tub to soak in. Breakfast was good. They have 3 different types of waffle makers, eggs, potatoes, and either sausage or bacon, and the usual continental breakfast options like pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc. The pool and hot tub are nice, and they have a dry sauna! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future!

The breakfast was good on day two. Upon checkin, we were told that omelette station would be available Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, no omelette station. The front desk clerk said the truck did not come in. The kitchen staff said that they were understaffed. The breakfast was not great, but it was food. The second day, the omelette station was very good.

they ran out of pool towels and after being told they were in the dryer my family and I swam for 2 hours and still no pool towels. we went up wet to our room.

Breakfast was 6:30-9:30. We arrived at 8:30 and the potatoes and sausage were gone and no attendant in sight. I went to the front desk and rang the bell and two men came out. I asked for the food to be replenished and was told what they had left they were saving for the next day. He also said he was about out of toppings for the omelets but if we wanted just mushrooms and cheese he’d do one. He didn’t have anything ready to fix them in the breakfast room. We said not to bother. He walked in and took the pans out and then we never saw him again. 😏

House keeping didn't service my room and even after I asked someone for towels and just my trash emptied they said they would be there in a minute and still no service. My husband had to go to the front desk the next morning for towels.
