How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bugs at night are infestation worthy! The only "modern" update is that there's no carpet anymore! You have to go across the complex for coffee in the morning. No coffee in the room! And the stairs outside going to the second floor are steep. They claim to be "pet friendly" but nowhere to take your pet to get business done and no outside trash to put the waist in!

Small room and thin, small bath towels. Ice machine was not working. No cups in our room. Trash in hallway outside our room. Decent motel and price for a one-night stay.
Comfortable bed with 4 pillows. Helpful staff. Manager came to our room to fix a connection issue with the TV. Clean room. Good location next to a very good brew Pub and a block away from a coffee/simple breakfast place. Coffee available in the office.

The bugs around the area makes it hard. Also the restroom was too old and had hard time getting water temperature right. There were hairs on the bedsheets. So a bit through cleaning can make it better experience.
The motel is good and value for money. The staff is accommodative and friendly. The room has fridge and microwave which was a good addition.

Shower was not as clean as I expected it to be. There was other people's hair on the walls of the shower. There were also some bugs that would appear on the floor in the bathroom that came in from under the baseboards in the bathroom. The power outlet next to the bed above the nightstand didn't work so I had to plug in my C-Pap machine using the bathroom outlet.
Bed was really comfy. The room looked refreshing.

There are few to no amenities. No complimentary breakfast, only one plastic cup in the room, no hairdryer, no iron. The room was very clean but also very small.

Room was unfortunately very dirty, lots of hair in our bed, dirty bathroom and floors. Supplied hand soap and conditioner but no shampoo, which confused me.

It's a little dated, but no worries, it's a budget motel, exactly as expected.
Great budget friendly motel. Staff were wonderful. It's exactly what we expected. Clean quick place to lay or head for the night. Coin washer and dryer available to use.

The room wasn’t overly clean, the sheets were dirty and had to be changed after we checked in, no table lamps by the bedside, no coffee makers in the room. It’s very dated.
Staff was sweet and helpful, couldn’t understand them though. I did really like that there was no carpet, hard floors are much easier to keep clean
