How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff member who was on duty when we checked in was not particularly welcoming and really didn't know how to handle things when she could not find our reservation. I addressed this with another staff member the next morning and she assured me this person would be retrained. It is not Hampton's way to not be welcoming to guests and attempt to solve issues rather than tell the guest flat out they didn't have a reservation when you actually do. Also the tub in the room we were in was very slick ~~ this could be a safety feature.
This is an older hotel and could use some upgrades but was acceptably clean. The breakfast was very good and food well prepared and maintained.

My priority was finding a safe place to stay near Little Rock. The hotel is located in a great area and I felt very safe. We were super excited to be greeted by friendly staff and yummy fresh baked cookies. We asked the front desk associate to recommend a good place for dinner and she gave us an AMAZING recommendation that far exceeded my expectations. This hotel was also a great value for the money.

The lady at the check in counter was extremely rude. The rooms our a bit outdated not the cleanest, tons of marks on walls, missing lightbulbs in the lamps.
It was close to our family we were In town to visit.

They need to replace their cart for luggage. We only saw one available, suggest purchasing several new carts. Other than that it was great.

My biggest issue is that housekeeping did not replace our wet towels during our 3-day stay. There was no DND sign on the door on day 2, and the room was vacated for several hours. Housekeeping did not enter the room so we had no clean towels, despite a sign on the mirror saying housekeeping will be in every other day. Minor nuisance but irritating nonetheless. Also, the desk chair was very worn (second room I’ve stayed in with worn-out desk chairs).

Pillows were a little hard.
The staff were some of the nicest I've encountered at any hotel. Went out of their way to be helpful and so approachable. Facilities very clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely will return.

This hotel is nice and very inviting and cozy however it is in need of some upgrades. The carpets in the lobby and rooms are terribly dirty and in bad shape. Frayed and patched in a shoddy way. If that is fixed that will be great.
I really like this hotel and the location is great for our Purpose.

Desk staff completely indifferent to guests, taking no notice when returning keys, head buried in either phone or computer. No greeting when checking in, no smiles no attempt to offer any suggestions or help with other matters, i.e. restaurant recommendations. Amazed at the number of pets within the hotel. Luggage carts falling apart, really need new ones.
Breakfast was same as almost all other hotels offering "free" breakfast. Fake eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. Room was nice and quiet as requested.

The elevator is a real problem. The door is heavy and closes too quickly. The obstacle sensor is not sensitive. It closed as my disabled husband was trying to enter it with his cane and rolling luggage. He was pinned by the door until another guest rescued him by pushing the door open.
Comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. Breakfast better than most. The AC was easy to control with a wall thermostat.
