Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesLike most of waikiki, the drinks were on the weaker side. The coffee provided in the room also pretty weak, as was similar to the rest of the waikiki unfortunately. The pool view is perfect, just wish it was a little bigger.
Great location for being Central in Waikiki, everything within walking distance. If its going to be your first time in hawaii and you are used to cities, and like everything being within walking distance, its a great spot. Also really convenient are the "hui" cars parked in the garage, didn't need to go anywhere when we needed to rent a car.

United StatesNo jacuzzi. The activities they advertised were of smaller scale than expected. However overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Very clean and amazing view from the pool. Comfortable and thankful for the water stations on every floor. The staff provided excellent service. The room was spacious and beds comfortable.

United StatesThe parking was $55.00 per day which is pricey.
The location was great, and the hotel was new and clean. The room was considered a suite with a full-size refrigerator, which made shopping and storing our groceries.

United StatesWe had to ask to have the room cleaned most days, fancy toilet with confusing settings. No breakfast was available but the room coffee was actually pretty good and there was a nice food store across the street with good croissants. It would be better to have small containers of real half and half rather than coffee mate which isn’t very healthy
A great location, gigantic room, nice kitchenette and laundry, all modern, great facilities (pool and deck with food and drinks available)

Great amenities! Each room had a rice cooker, kettle, microwave, full fridge, coffee maker. The most impressive was the washlet ! We had the 1 bedroom suite with 2 doubles and a sofa bed and found it was spacious enough for 6 people. Rooftop and owners' lounge were great! It was perfect for a big family as we got space to hang out. All the staff were exceptional ! Especially Richard!

Great location! Waikik is one of the best parts of Honolulu, there are plenty of shops, big brands and restaurants in an easy reach. Also, the famous Waikiki beach is about 5 minutes by walk. The facilities are awesome! We didn't get to the pools, but we loved the washing room, it came very handy that we could clean our dirty clothes in the middle of a long trip (for free). The room was one of the best ones, if not the best one, we ever had! Everything seemed to be brand new, the furniture has great quality. We loved that the doors of each rooms are opening in each others - so, you can walk around from the living room through the bedroom and bahtroom, then get back to the living room (though not having a door on the toilet is an interesting choice). The kitchen was fully equipped, we loved the USB plugs at the bedsides and to have both a bath tube and a shower cabin.

United StatesThe valet parking was a bit too much in my opinion but there is a lot of metered parking close to the hotel.
The property is very fresh and new. The staff were very friendly and provide superb service!

New ZealandDuring check-out we were charged a higher rate by almost 20% than the price we booked on Booking.com Despite providing a copy of our Booking.com reservation confirmation to the hotel, they refused to honour the price. We were required to pay the higher rate at the hotel. We escalated to Booking.com and received a refund after a couple of weeks.
The Marriott Vacation Club is located within a 10-15 minutes walk from Waikiki Beach and the main tourist attractions. The hotel is situated on the quieter end of Waikiki, offering a peaceful respite from the crowds. The hotel is also located a few minuts walk away from restaurants, bus stops, an ABC store, and a coffee shop across the road. Facilities including a gym was brand new when we stayed there in December 2024. We were informed that the hotel had just opened for business a fews months ago. To us the rooftop swimming pool was not big enough for lap swimming. There were brand new washing machines and dryers available at Level 4 and Level 6 for guest use without additional charges.
